PH Losers 2019 - Anyone want to join me?
Discussion
Well I crumbled and had my first Chocolate bar since the start of the year. I put it down to being late getting up and not taking enough to work at lunch.
Today’s meal
Breakfast
Fruit salad (apple/banana/grapes
Lunch
Two chicken sausages in a whole meal sandwich thin no spread. A boiled egg and two plumbs.
Snack
1 yorkie
Tea
Two poached eggs, chips (1 small potatoe done in the actifryer using 10ml of sunflower oil), 1/3 can of baked beans.
lacking of veg and maybe too much fruit but I tracked all my calories using MFP and I was 200 under my 1850 allowance.
I have chosen Friday as my weight in day. That way if I do go overboard on a weekend I have the rest of the week to make it up. So long as I stay below the 1850x7 calories allowance for the week.

From a quick tot up, we have collectively lost 77kg, well done chaps.
I note that an increasing numbers of 'players' haven't checked in with their progress since the start of the year. I was not expecting such a high level of flounce so soon .

Not that any of it matters in the grand scheme of things but it's nice to see everyone else's progress to keep motivated yourself. Of course the numbers posted could all be made up anyway as there's only a couple of us posting photo proof.

That was my thinking as well. Means I worry less when out or having a drink or two.Edited by MB140 on Tuesday 15th January 22:26

Your right it’s good motivation to see how everyone is getting on.

I did check in on the wiki this morning... Seems to have disappeared so did it again now!
I think it was MYOB that reports some weirdness when trying to edit it on a phone as it doesn't save the changes, but works fine on a PC. Did you start your weight loss yesterday as it says 14th on the table? I thought you started early last week sometime?

I was waiting for someone to mention that! I have 12 pairs all identical so those are the only ones you'll see! They are merino wool lined and I need them to stop my feet sweating and making them go cold and damp because of poor circulation in my lower legs. They don't last long and soon wear through with them being wool mix .

I weighed 196lbs on NYD and this morning's weigh in was 189lbs.
Moderate exercise 3 times a week and a massive change to diet have helped. I miss my daily tube of Pringles as a starter whilst tea's cooking though. I've also not drunk alcohol in 2019 having been used to a couple of cans of beer a day and more at the weekend. I'm not missing it much.
Generally I have more energy and my skin and hair feel much better too!

All good so far. No sugar, processed/ junk food, alcohol or fizzy stuff since new year. It’s not translating into speedy weight loss but I already feel much better.
Had no cravings at all, although I have missed the Aldi stuffed crust pizza... it’s nice to feel so bloated all the time, and the constant rise and crash energy levels has gone. I know everyone always says this, but I’m really not going back.
Now just need to cut bread out I reckon, and find an easy way to up my veg portions to 3/4 a day.
Second weigh in, 1.7kg drop this week after week 1's 1.4kg
Diet:
- No low/zero carb antics
- Eating a balanced diet, wife has been keen to reduce our meat consumption so giving it a go
- Paying attention to macros and tracking calories in MFP
- Sticking to it 90% of the time [deliberately 90%]
Exercise:
- Every day except Sunday
- Have managed to settle in to the routine of gym before leaving for work
- Maximum of 20mins per session, total gym time thus far is 3.5hrs and 600 calories burnt on the treadmill

Friday is chubby-chasers/slimming world for me.
Been weighing myself unofficially at home, but the scales only have 3 little rubber feet (and one missing), I can lose a few pounds just leaning back
Yesterday I ate way beyond what can be good for any person on any diet, but broadly I'm expecting pretty big losses as been quite strict with food. Still got a stinking cold and now shared it with the workforce. As soon as that eases up I'm on the cross trainer.
