Checked in on the table, seem to have lost 4.7kg since start of Jan.

I think I’m happy with this, but much of it will be down to cutting out drink for January, which is going to be tough to keep up.

I’ll keep trying, keep fingers crossed for me.

I'm going to carry on with little or no alcohol for the foreseeable future due to my exceedingly poor performance regarding weight loss to date this year.

Don't be discouraged.1200/cal a day is a pretty punchy target (some would say it's below what's safe and sustainable) so you might have more luck with a higher budget?

many long time cardio exercise junkies would love to drop a kilo a week. i am jealous. keep going and see where you are at week 12. If you have lost 10kg by then you should be over the moon smile

I've just added myself to the table, i've lost 7.3kg apparently but...

I weighed myself around 10pm on the 31st, drunk and after eating a massive meal so some of that will have gone the next day along with two weeks worth of alcohol retention from the Xmas period. Having said that i'm keeping the 7.3kg as it makes me feel better hehe.

Thanks! Doing a lot of running, which helps with both calories and motivation. Just don't ask me to lift anything heavy...

End target is 80kg (-22kg on start), with intermediate of 89kg (-13kg) by Easter. Since it's 13 weeks to Easter, that's a hopefully acheivable/sustainable rate of -1kg per week.
Month end weigh in: 6kg down in January, now at 96kg.

Had a bit of an 'off week' this week. Found myself having a couple of 'fk it' sausage sandwiches in the morning as work has been quite full on.

1.3kg loss in 2 weeks which is pleasantly surprising. I have been playing a lot more sport though, starting to feel fitter and I'm definitely quicker round the badminton court than I was pre-Christmas.

Some excellent figures on the table. Well done all.

Cracking effort so far folks!

My last weigh in for January showed that I’m still at 76.8kg, so 1.2kg down from the start of the year. I introduced a weights workout into my routine halfway through the month so that may have played a part in my overall weight not dropping?

I need to get back onto more cardio exercise, got two 5 a side games lined up for tomorrow which should help. It’s annoying how cardio seems to be less effective this time around!

Down another 0.5kg in a few days, eating more calories (counting macros) than I was last year, upped cardio to 25 mins vice 20 and a few BJJ sessions.

PT session this morning was great. Switched from the seated leg press to the proper one today and just kept loading it up:

End result when we took off the weights and counted up: 395kg... NOW it feels like I'm getting somewhere! Quite proud of that achievement today. biggrin

Is there anyone here that's counting their calories?
Yep, I averaged 907 kCal/Day up to Christmas 2019 over a ten week period (including drinks)
Yep I use MyFitnessPal to track my calories. Realistically I should be aiming for 1800 calories a day but have it set to 1550 a day. This way if I do over eat a few hundred calories then I am seeing red numbers in the app to warn me about my intake. Looking to achieve 2lb a week.

My hardest part is the wife works away during the week. I’m super strict during the week but when she’s home we want to go out etc and I sort of binge a bit. So it’s sort of feast or famine.

Aiming to lose 2lb a week. Weighed 254 on 02/01/20, weighed myself 31/1/20 and down to 241. Slightly disappointed as I was hoping for a stone the first month. But did achieve my goal of 2lb a week so I should be too disheartened.

17st 9lbs this morning.

Been a slow 2 weeks, but thats 10lbs gone in 5 weeks, which I am very happy with.

Only another 51lbs to go!

I did job 1/3 of a mile yesterday, that's a real rarity!

Second day of being at the gym for 06:30... Much as it doesn't feel like it initially it's nice to have done my cardio for the day before I'd usually have even woken up.

New regime from my PT is certainly stepping things up a bit! Weigh in tonight for me at SW, hoping to hit 5st loss tonight (I was 2lbs away last Monday @ 22st 4lbs, I started at 27st 2lbs).

Hoping that next week I may even drop into the 21st bracket for the first time in over a decade!

Back up to 16st12 today (107kg) from 16st8 (106.6kg) which I dropped to last week with illness, which is disappointing. I had hoped it would remain off. Still, down 2.8kg since the start of the year. It doesn't sound very much for the effort I've been putting it but my mother commented yesterday that I'd lost weight, and it was noticeable. Whilst the scales might not be dropping as rapidly as I wish, the loss is noticeable it seems.

Ran - 38.6 miles
Cycled - 21 miles

you're lucky.

Friday, I walked in the door from work and my mum immediately launched into how I am fatter than Dick Strawbridge, despite the fact I'm not as big as him and have lost 10lbs.

Weight is a funny thing, yesterday morning I was 100.5 kg, yesterday we had friends round for lunch, we had a roast and a bit (nothing excessive) to drink, in the evening I had a packet of crisps and a bit of leftover quiche as I was only a bit peckish due to my large lunch and drank green tea (no alcohol).

The dogs were also walked well yesterday, did about 3 miles.

This morning I am 102.5kg so in one day I have gone up 2kg, no doubt tomorrow it will be back down to around 100.5, it is odd how much it can fluctuate so much, I am pretty sure that my roast wasn't 2kg and anyhow, much of it would have been worked off during the day and the rest flushed down the toilet this morning.
