I gave up at start of December, at the start of the 20 thread I was preparing a 12 week cut for a BJJ competition which in the end got cancelled.

I think basically what I've done is lost around 2kg and maintained but packed on a little muscle so not all is lost.

Going to find something to cut for in 2021. even if its just a photoshoot and take it from there.

To be fair Funk, covid is a reasonable excuse for not exercising for a bit...smile. Incidentally my resting HR has also gone up by 10bpm as well, to the point where it obviously justified a new watch 'just to make sure'...

Three kickboxing sessions and two gym trips last week which is good. I'm finding my lifting mojo coming back (along with DOMS!)

Offset by a 1,500kcal large white toblerone, 2,500kcal box of Roses, Christmas pudding, brandy butter, clotted cream, three bottles of wine and half a bottle of rum.

Apparently it's not what you eat between Christmas and New Year that counts, but what you eat between New Year and Christmas or so the meme goes...

Need you onboard in 2021 please Funk. Be lonely without you.

I'm in for 2021, only need to lose a couple of kilos if I'm honest, but occasionally coming in here gives you a little bit of motivation to eat healthier and ensure you go gym that day.

I need to get back into some sort of diet come Jan. I was becoming a pork(ier)y bugger at the end of 2020 & I'm due for a class 2 medical for my flying late Jan or early Feb. The CAA doesn't like BMIs of 35 or above & mine is close to 39.
Unfortunately everyone bought me choccy, biscuits or booze for Xmas. Added to being in lockdown for Covid with no work travel at all.
So we need to get on the case Funk.

I’m rather annoyed that I’ve put a few kilos back on over the past few months as a result of a chest infection and some other issues. Having too many treats in the house really hasn’t helped either. Seem to have a cold at the moment so not feeling up to any exercise.

Got an event in April providing the covid situation hasn’t worsened so need to get back on it as soon as I’m back to full health

I actually found Covid helped me lose weight, where I worked there was constant snacking, usually biscuits around, every friday bacon butties, no time to have a proper breakfast etc
Since working from home I have a better breakfast, have controlled the junk food intake and been far more sensible with portion control.
Most of this came about because the village I live in had a working group to clear up our playing field and on the team photo I thought "Blimey! I've got quite a belly there"

Started at the end of October 82.5kg, now down to 75.8kg and noticeably slimmer, jeans are loose etc, plan on getting to 70kg, Christmas has slowed the drop but I've managed to maintain rather than gain, whilst eating what I enjoy so I'm happy with that.

I'm back in at the same weight I was this time last year (87kg) with the same target (80kg). Over the last year I've I've been up and down mainly due to revised diet when lockdown first came in last March. I actually went up to 98kg but have been on a serious calorie count for the last 10 weeks to get things under control again. I've also stopped alcohol intake for the time being for other reasons.

I've named my current eating plan the 911 diet; i.e. my average daily intake is 911 calories. This will change to the 997.2 diet as soon as I hit 86kg. with a target of losing 0.5kg per week. I've bought some new more accurate scales to assist with this.

At least I'm back into 34in waist trousers again but a couple of my jackets are hanging in the wardrobe awaiting the new super slim me. Roll on a covid free spring. smile
