Yep. It’s a sensible weight for someone that tall.

I was considering placing this in the 'Supplements' thread where, by rights, it should be. But its relevance is more to the discussion on here I think. In my search for the least side effects possible off a supplement this rates quite high, certainly higher than test. More subtle than test, but after 1-2 weeks the results on libido are *cough* outstanding. Lots of research out there backs this up. There is also a plethora of research that found marked benefits for supplementation of L - Carnitine during exercise. I've found most supplements are bunk (Creatine, L Citrulline/Arginine being the exceptions) but I will be adding this to the list of non-bunk.

NB In the first article "androgen administration" = testosterone supplementation. There is little difference between the two in results barring Carnitine doesn't affect the prostate. Test does, and can lead to 'complications'.

Supplementation of l-carnitine in athletes: does it make sense?

I stil hae this from PP from years ago.
2 x 500mg L-Arginine / 1 x 500mg L-Ornithine once a day for 8 weeks.

That looks good but L Citrulline would do the same job a bit better IMO. IIRC L- O converts to Arginine anyway, and L-C is the superior form of Arginine. I used L Arginine for years and recently switched to L Citrulline. It's hard to keep up with current research when you have to train as well ! smile

after watching a few alan thrall vids which had Baracki and another fella in it, they talked about what to put in a pre-workout.

which is this;
2.5 grams of Creatine Monohydrate
3.2 grams beta alanine
4 grams of Citrulline Malate
1.5 grams of HMB
1000mg of Betaine Anhydrous
THey do sell it in combined form but I just bought it all separate myself, and add stuff like caffeine to it depending on time of day.

In my experience
Beta Alanine

+ more energy
- sweat more, insomnia

HMB
+ marginally better recovery
- numbness

Bulk Powders. 500 gm bag @ £18.99 once the 50% off discount code has been applied. Tastes vile, but it's survivable. For the first week I dosed three heaped spoons a day, but after about 8 days I, er, backed off a bit to two a day. By day four you should feel sharper/edgy. Day 5/6 quite aggressive but this passes quickly. Now mood, energy, libido enhancement is obvious. So far so good.
