Vitamin D deficiency

Natures Aid do a 5000iu one via Natural Dispensary. Or just get a liquid form which is sublingual. I tend to recommend Nutri Advanced for that. You can tailor the dose very well that way.
Thanks for the suggestion Ross. Their tablet looks good, but doesn't come with K2. The sublingual does come with K2, but will need 15 drops per day to reach 5000IU meaning the bottle will run out in 20 days!Ideally need a D3 & K2 tablet that is 5000IU, one of their nutritionists will be calling me back to go through some options.
Alternative is to take K2 separately, I believe you only need a set dose of it for it to do its job, regardless of the level of D3 that is taken along side it.

Seems a mod is removing many of my replies on this thread, although I'm not sure why. They first removed the one which said "if you're a particularly chunky......"
Which is not saying you are, it's saying "IF you're a little overweight your levels won't be as high".
I can't reply to the mods email so I'd like an explanation as to why many posts are being removed.
Just chipping in here to add that your posts have been removed by a mod as it's deemed inappropriate to be giving out medical advice on PH. We appreciate that you're trying to help members but advise members if they would like advice on medication, then they contact their GP. Thank you.Which is not saying you are, it's saying "IF you're a little overweight your levels won't be as high".

An interesting video on the "Vitamin D paradox":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eEyWlbToI4
The paradox is that people with naturally good vitamin D levels generally have good COVID outcomes, but administering the active form (ie not D2 / D3, which takes weeks to convert to the active form) to sick people with low levels does not improve outcomes.
The explanation does seem logical.

Yep, vit D is more "preventative" rather than a treatment. By that I don't mean it prevents covid, but it can prevent seriousness of the situation, but your levels need to be high prior. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eEyWlbToI4

I want numbers though. Their colour chart.... Is it based on numbers or is it a case of "green you're good, yellow is OK, red is bad" etc etc.... In which case, who says what's OK? https://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/hom...

I've had low Vitamin D in two blood tests in as many years.
Can anyone recommended an 'all in one' vitamin D and K2 supplement with sufficient but not ridiculously low/high doses?
Nutri Advanced do a vitamin D and K2 liquid which is very good quality. You can tailor the dose very easily with a liquid, whilst more expensive, it is good quality. Can anyone recommended an 'all in one' vitamin D and K2 supplement with sufficient but not ridiculously low/high doses?
