No reply to my post above. That's always the way on these anti vax bullst threads. You hit them with actual facts, and they go quiet. Then another thread pops up with the same old nonsense. Rinse and repeat.
There was no reply from me because your post, as very politely pointed out, was claptrap.TwigtheWonderkid said:

I had my covid vaccine on 09.02.2021, the lady who did it told me I was the first person she was injecting and would be assessed SHE WASNT she moved the needle whilst it was in my arm the pain was unbelievable, she apologised. My arm was hurting to the point it was distracting driving home, and just got worse. I carried on best I could for couple of weeks willing the pain to go but it just got worse. Went to the doctors as wasn't sleeping and was in constant dreadful pain and told him the pain started as soon as I had the needle, he said that it could have injured me but he believes that it's arthritis! I was flabbergasted as the pain was unbearable and I'd never had so much as a twinge before the injection. They sent me for an X-ray on my shoulder which shown inflammation and NO ARTHRITIS the worst of my pain was down upper arm and across lower arm, my shoulder pain was not what was reducing me to tears and I told gp this. Sent for physio total waste of time. Doctor wouldn't prescribe me codeine as doesn't believe in putting patients on it who don't take any normally so I saw another doctor as I just couldn't bare the pain, this doctor did prescribe codeine it it only took the edge off and sometimes not at all. This doctor believed I had a trapped nerve in my neck and told me insistently that was not injured by the vaccine. Referred me to shoulder consultant ( I told them my shoulder didn't really hurt as its now been 4 months and that it was my arm) she believes it may be my Radial nerve was caught and that it doesn't appear to be a trapped nerve in my neck as the doctor has suggested as there is no and has never been a problem with it. She made appointment for 2 months to decide if I needed a nerve conduction test. Fast forward 2 months and she was of sick so saw another consultant who said I think it was just a reaction to vaccine. I said what! no other side effects except the worst imaginable pain in the arm they injected and you think I've just reacted. I've had complete numbness that never changes in thumb index and middle finger and that half of my hand. since this happened there's also numbness up my arm. I'm currently waiting for a nerve conduction test and now 7 months from having the vaccine I am pain free in my arm but my numbness and stabbing pains in numb fingers continue. In all the pain lasted 5 1/2months but still not fixed.

It's not a failure to understand probability, rather an exercise in common sense. If I'm not at significant risk of the index disease, I don't need to take any vaccine. If that vaccine introduces a risk, I definitely don't need to take it. If the vaccine is new in mechanism with no long term testing having taken place, I am not going to take it unless the risk from the disease is significant.
Bear in mind when the AZ was released we were told no significant risk. Then within weeks it became 1:250k, now two weeks later it's 1:125k. Who knows where it'll be in 3 year's time.
If I mitigated to the maximum extent against every risk of death over 1:125,000, I would never go anywhere or do anything and would probably die of boredom, if not from one medicine or another, as my body would be a walking branch of Boots.
It's an utter fallacy that we should all be vaccinated.
As a human being drawing breath, you are at risk of the disease for which you are vaccinated, and are therefore likely to have some positive benefit. Everyone is, and you have a degree of social responsibility to get vaccinated so we can achieve "herd immunity", where sufficient numbers are vaccinated the disease cannot spread or mutate.Bear in mind when the AZ was released we were told no significant risk. Then within weeks it became 1:250k, now two weeks later it's 1:125k. Who knows where it'll be in 3 year's time.

1 in 250,000 risk of what? Incoherent risk based made up vague number syndrome?
As (presumably given the strength of your opinion) an expert in the field of immunology, what about the "new mechanism" do you consider an increased risk compared to conventional vaccines? What about when compared live Vaccines? Or the Pfizer RNA method? Or do you simply know very little, and you're just making the assumption that it's new and it's something to be afraid of? Despite millions of people have demonstrated the contrary. Every single new medicine, is new, that's the whole point.
There's no such thing as "long term testing" prior to selling a vaccine or medicine. Again, this is made up non-sense, all the typically criteria are met as well as millions of people demonstrating it's proven safety.
It absolutely is an exercise in common sense. How do you think you're doing so far?

Your overlooking natural immunity, your not even acknolwding most of the facts around covid sufferers and the % breakdown of the people who die from it.
You are so deeply blinded by your anger to even look at things in perspective and seem to be shouting out more than "anti vaxxers".
I was tempted to go deeper and explain further but really is no point.

I live by a simple principle; I don't take any medicine unless I need it. I don't see Covid as a risk, so I don't need to swallow the spider to catch the fly. Other people will feel differently. It's called personal choice and should be respected (in all directions).
As long as people like you don't come on my airplane mutating away then thats fine. All for vacinne passports here.TX.

Sorry what is the blood clot risk from COVID?
That ground has been covered. Suggest you read the earlier pages and/or the relevant reports. As desperate as you are to belittle me for having a contrary option to your own, I'm really not that bothered. Enjoy your weekend.

I just looked and that is very odd. I've been on PHs for 21 yrs and never encountered that. Has something gone awry? Yes.
