That's the trouble isn't it , you spend all that money on a transplant and i bet you still worry if anyone can tell .

Screw that , buzz cut it mega short for a bit then shave it all off then you know where you are , no more worrying if people can tell .
I’ve never given a moments thought to whether anyone can tell. Because surprisingly no one actually gives a st about other people’s hair
That's just you though .

There are plenty of people who are bothered about loosing there hair , just look at the amount of YouTube videos on going bald .

Prince William looks fine now he's cut it really short. Looked ridiculous when he was making the mistake of trying to pretend he wasn't balding.

Someone upthread said it didn't bother him as he was married, but it might have done if he was single. But why? Lots of bald men say women don't go for bald men. I think most of the time, it's that women don't go for men who lack confidence, and the certainly don't go for bald men pretending not to be bald. That's why they don't get the women. But bald men who don't care do just fine.

And for every woman that genuinely doesn't like bald men, they'll be another who prefers it.

I met my wife after I'd shaved my hair off.

She has said that she had previously thought that she preferred men with shaggy hair.

It's not about the hair, or no hair.

The statement made was that after having a transplant you would be worried about whether people could tell

As someone who has had a transplant I was just saying that I don’t care if anyone can or can’t tell

I had a bald patch on my crown (aged 46), getting thinner and thinner over the years. Friar Tuck jokes galore. Tried shaving my whole head getting shorter and shorter, but the wife didn't like that - just looked like a thug.

So, I decided to give finasteride a try. 5 weeks in and there is already a noticeable growth of hair on the once bald patch. I bought a 6 month supply, so will give it that time and see what it is like.

No side effects at all.
Do you mind sharing where you bought it from, how much you paid and what your dosage is? Thanks

Not wishing to piss on anyone’s fireworks but Finasteride won’t show visible results in 5 weeks.

Mine is starting to go at the front (AKA Dracula or Quentin Wilson) but its not that bad yet, it seems to me it started to go gradually between 26 and 28. But it just seems to have stopped where it was for the last 4 years or so.

If it does start to go properly, I think I'll just shave it, keep the beard and look like Walter White..........

Yeah of course there are other variables (personality, mutual interests, money etc) but anyone who thinks a girl/women in her late teens early twenties would prefer a bald bloke over one with hair is quite frankly deluded. Therefore I think my comment about being more likely to get treatment if single is very valid.

It’s like saying lots of obese people still get partners. Yes of course they do, but it certainly makes the pool of possible partners smaller, self confident or not.

Late 20s onwards, I suspect that women are less bothered by a lack of head hair in a man.

Agreed, but for those losing their hair in early twenties it is an issue. As we all know, as you get older these things become less and less relevant but as a very young man losing your hair can be very stressful.

I was one of those young men, but the truth is that shaving my hair off in my 20s improved matters.

When you get to about 30 onwards, having no hair, but being lean and fit (not a pumped up steroid abuser) makes you look better and healthier than the majority and you will probably feel better than you would with a transplanted thatch of hair and frequent doses of miracle-gro too.

Three younger lads at work had a joint trip to Turkey for transplants.
All three seem to have had decent results. Being younger (30's) it obviously bothered them.

I'm fairly thin on top now so it gets the message with the clippers, couldn't imagine any sort of surgery to fix something I'm not arsed about.

Man boob reduction, now that's different lol.

Don't look now but............ behind you smile

I would shave it off personally. Mine is similar but not quite as bad as yours, have had a diy No1 every 2 weeks now for the last 23 years.

Not having to worry about hair is very liberating, high winds, rain, wake up looking like the wild man of Borneo, messed up with woolly hats or baseball caps, Covid19, cant find your comb, none of that matters any more.

Assuming that the child is yours, your lack of thick hair has not prevented procreation.

My wife has very thick hair, as do her relatives and my children (it didn't prevent me either) . Unlike the men on my Mum's side of the family, who are somewhat less gifted in the head hair dept.

Shave it off.

Ps. Stair gates work better when they are closed.

Judging by those photo’s, you’d be mad not to take it all off, before you part with any money.

Even taking it down to stubble, will work for you, I’m sure smile

You need to hit all angles really, start using Nizoral shampoo 2/3 times a week, get your hands on finasteride, and RU58841. Research loads on how to use them and you will see results!

My brother had a hair transplant but he now needs another one and has a big scar on the back of his head And it’s thinning.
