Thanks. I'm quite fortunate in that I seem to put weight on relatively less quickly than I should (at times I've been eating 2-3,000 calories of chocolate/crisps/beer a day on top of my normal meals) and am still able to shift it again when I put my mind to it. But I have been exercising a ridiculous amount since mid-December and next Monday will be my first rest day since 21 December. In that time, I'll have run nearly 200km and cycled nearly 1,900km and I have to admit, I'm feeling pretty exhausted. Combined with no booze and a significant reduction in snacking, I've been in big calorie deficit most days.

I have no intention of continuing to exercise that much or be quite so good with the food/drink but I hope to still be around 300-500 calorie deficit a day on average so with any luck, I'll keep dropping and eventually get to my 75kg target.
That sounds similar to what I've been doing. Drinking and eating lots of crap over the years but the weight only slowly creeped up. Now I've cut all that out and been walking 5 miles every day, the weight is just dropping off. I've done 5.15kg since 5 Jan and feeling great.
It's great when it happens as it becomes a bit of a virtuous circle. Because I'm seeing results, it acts as a motivator to keep at it and I almost look forward to getting on the scales in the morning. And like you, I'm feeling good on it. Sleeping better (and needing it!) and so nice to not have the bloated feeling I used to go to bed with after a big binge. Having said that, there is a small box of praline seashells left over from Christmas that has my name on it. I'm not a saint!

Same here, gradually feeling better and better, lots more energy generally and feeling better mentally. I did have a chocolate hobnob yesterday though so maybe it was that!! :haha:

It's amazing when you start eating better how you realise how calorific things are. Like said Hobnobs, when you look at the packet, one biscuit is like 15% of your daily fat allowance. I would have no trouble smashing through 5 or 6 of those in one go previously, that's the whole days worth of fat intake gone in those few minutes!!

3 1/2 weeks in and I've lost an awesome 13.8kg on the FAST 800 diet. Really enjoying the food, I feel good now but the first couple of weeks were tough.

Just over 8 more weeks to go I'd love to lose another couple of stones.

Jesus Christ! That’s amazing! You must need a whole new wardrobe already.

I've dropped from 16st to 13st 4 (today's check in woot).

I had a mix of XL and L T Shirts and the L's are ok - Fit better, as I'm reasonably broad anyhow. The XL are way too big especially around the neck. I'm still wearing them round the house as no point in buying anything just yet. Bought a fleece beginning of Jan which was L, and just had to buy it again in a M as it was starting to look baggy. Also bought some L T Shirts in the sale after Xmas, and M might have done it so I'm holding off now on buying anything until I get to the target.

Jeans are another one though, I bought some 34s in October as I was desperate for new jeans. Then bought 32s in Nov, managed to get into them in Dec. Now I'm wearing a belt and thinking 30s will be needed.

I'll pack all the clothes away for when i'm fat again biggrin

Jumped on the scales today and 133.7kg. Down 3.3kg.

Chuffed with that as I didn’t get off to the best start!

I was 1.2 Kg down yesterday which is great. It is slowly coming off & I have amazed myself by avoiding the tons of naughty stuff which is still in the house.
Assisted by one of our partners shipping a load of Hotel Chocolat stuff this week as a promo & Xmas pressie.
Been on high protein, low carbs which is the only things that works for me.
Just stuck to one meal a day which is a salad and wither a tin of fish or some meat. At lunchtime a few small cheeses & a pepperami but not every day.
Also walking at least 20 minutes or more a day & using the wife's minigym for a while during the day,
So total lost since Jan 1st is 3.9kg or 8.6lbs. More than happy.

Started this a week ago and I'm down 6.4 lbs or 2.9kg. It's not a lot of difference as I'm more than a little overweight, but I feel good for it.

Good weekend food wise. It helps that my girlfriend is losing weight as well so we don’t have any crap in the house.

I’m working nights tonight...I always struggle with them and eating! Hopefully it’s busy and I don’t have time to go to the tuck shop!

I was quite good for all of January. Managed at least 30 mins walking every day, no takeaways and probably no more than 2 beers a week.

Lost 1.8kg so far, quite pleased with that! Just need to keep it up, and get back out on the bike once it warms up a bit.

Worked out something scary. On an average day I was eating nearly 3000 calories, now it's about 1300-1500 calories plus quite a bit of walking. I'm hoping the pounds continue to drop.

0.95kg down in January, not great but not that bad either considering I only really exercises for half of the month. Let’s see what Feb brings

Not sure I'm really winning but I guess given lockdown it's maybe not so bad to have not put on any weight in January!

Definitely eating too much as I ran 50 miles, did a few HIIT sessions at home and cycled 160km in the month. Need to get off the wine at weekends!

Well done all, had a wobble myself the last few days.

Weight dropped to 239lbs (down from 252.6 on 5 Jan) but then on Saturday I was light headed all day, especially when getting up from sitting down.

Definitely well hydrated so not sure whether I've been overdoing it with the low cal diet (circa 1200 cals). I had an incredibly stressful few days so decided to have a few days of normal eating and a few treats. Bit annoyed that I gave in to booze as well and had two nights on the trot putting away 5-6 cans each night.

Feeling better this morning and I think I needed that little blow out just to remind myself why I'm doing this. 241.8 today so still well down on my starting point.

4kg down so far. Tracking all food through MFP (1600-1700 cals a day) seems to be working.

My weight was going up in January, but has turned and I'm now lighter than I was at the start of the year. My wife has all decided that she wants to lose some weight, so I expect that we will be having healthier dinners for the next few months at least, so that should help me too.

Nights weren’t too bad eating wise. Helps that I had a decent meal before I went to work. Got some chicken to have during the shift which stopped me snacking.

Helps the tuck shop is running dry at the moment! Need to ask to get some Pepsi Max stocked though.
