PH losers 2021 - The journey continues!
Discussion
I'll join in again. I lost weight a few years ago but put it all back on again after meeting my Mrs. I was 15st but I'm now 19st 6lb. I'll update the wiki when I get to a computer. Plan is to cycle in the mornings as I now work evenings and meal prep healthier meals to bring to work.
Goal weight is 16st!
Goal weight is 16st!
I’m in, plan is to start on Wednesday as tomorrow is my birthday.
Current weight 17st 6lb’s
Goal’s: March 31st down into the 15st range and I will start running again. Got to halve marathon distance in the summer and was regularly running 10k, but took it’s toll on my knees as was still 16st 7lb’s.
Target by the summer 14st
The plan is I will be going 3 x Huel shakes a day only until 31st March.
Wish me luck!

I've started a concerted effort now after watching my weight creeping up over the last couple of months of 2020 and my alcohol intake go through the roof.
I'm off the sauce now for January as a minimum and will see how I feel after that. Also cutting out most, but not all, snacks and treats. My basic diet is pretty healthy so that doesn't need much attention if I deal with the drink/crisps/chocolate. I've bought a set of smart scales and am weighing myself every morning for interest, although I'm really interested in the weekly, rather than daily movements.
So far, I've shifted 2.4kg since New Year's Day which seems like an awful lot in a few days. I'm guessing most of that is just my body removing the obscene amounts of food that were constantly being stuffed into it over Christmas and NY.
Started 1 January at 86.6kg and am down to 84.2kg as of this morning. The plan is to try and be as close to 75kg by the end of February as possible.

Hopefully 2021 will be better than last year! I can’t work out how to edit the wiki...but
Current weight 137KG
Target weight 100KG
Height 6ft 4.5
Not sure if the gyms at work will be closing again...I really hope not!
Not sure if you are on a mobile but it doesn't work on them. Have added your info to the wiki.Current weight 137KG

Weight was all over the place last year but did get down to 92kg through a combination of cycling, walking and less carbs. Back up to 105kg thanks to crap weather, Christmas but I expect some of this to drop away quite quickly now I'm off the bread and junk food again. Will setup the turbo this week and work out how to get the sensors working.
I'm 6'1, target 90kg, current weight 105kg. Have said if I get back to 95kg I want to buy a new road bike. That is if I can actually find the one I want in stock anywhere. Would be either Specialized, Giant or Cannondale but first lockdown hammered stock everywhere.

Last year I went from 100kg down to 78kg Jan-May, then maintained through summer. Found out we were expecting in September and just lost my routine with exercise. Back up to 85kg by the end of the year. Now targeting 72kg for May this year (due date). Lost all the weight with my friend's brother's fitness plan (he's a PT and does online fitness and diet stuff with a group of 20-50 people). First day yesterday and my god the body doesn't like it. Feels good mentally though. Just working with a calorie limit, a protein minimum, steps minimum and well prescribed workout plan.
Umming and ahhing about whether to join in properly as I'm not aiming for huge loss, however I could do with the inspiration...
Just bought some new scales as the old ones varied by 4lbs depending on whether you are leaning forward or back.
6'1" and currently 14st 8-10ish, up from 14st 2-4 last spring. Fell off the exercise wagon since lockdown 1 when I suddenly had nothing to train for.
Aiming for <14st hopefully by the end of January. Ditched the booze, snacks and reduced portions/carbs (no rice, bread or spuds, minimal pasta) for my main meal, lots of fruit, aiming to have a cycle/run once (hopefully twice, but work/kids/short days....) a week, and at least one weights session.
It's not all bad though, I hit an inactive 16st 7+ in my 30s...

Thanks for creating the new thread - I managed to keep up weekly logging through 2020 and intend to continue.

Here's how it went - variable! We have a second baby due in June so that might hamper things a bit too...
Feeling better but aiming to get towards 65kg while keeping up my strength and power for cycling - we shall see!
First weigh-in of 2021 was 69.3kg but that's on the in-laws' scales so not 100% sure how it compares to my usual measurements!

Would you recommend it? Did one last year which wasn't cheap and lost very little weight. Struggling to find the motivation so far, managed a good workout and a walk on 01/01 and then a walk on 03/01.
I got pinged on the app to tell me to isolate after some friends who I saw on the walk on 01/01 tested positive a few days later
I'm back in at the same weight I was this time last year (88kg) with the same target (80kg). Over the last year I've I've been up and down mainly due to revised diet when lockdown first came in last March. I actually went up to 98kg but have been on a serious calorie count for the last 10 weeks to get things under control again. I've also stopped alcohol intake for the time being for other reasons.
I've named my current eating plan the 911 diet; i.e. my average daily intake is 911 calories. This will change to the 997.2 diet as soon as I hit 86kg. with a target of losing 0.5kg per week. I've bought some new more accurate scales to assist with this.
At least I'm back into 34in waist trousers again but a couple of my jackets are hanging in the wardrobe awaiting the new super slim me. Roll on a covid free spring.

This seems like a very low calorie intake? My target is 1,680 (set by MyFitnessPal) and I'm a fair bit lighter than you. Are you adding exercise calories on top?danpalmer1993 said:
Friday weigh ins for me and down 1.3kg this morning after a week of healthy eating, no alcohol and doing 15-20k on my turbo trainer 4 times this week.
Similar situation here. Fri weigh-in after a week of no alcohol and consistent exercise (5/7 days) = -1.4kgs. Quite a bit of chocolate snuck in due to a few boxes lying around post-Xmas and evening sugar cravings due to the lack of alcohol. I'm expecting another couple of weeks of big dips before it starts to level off into a more reasonable ~0.5kg per week decrease.
