I have carby food twice a week as a treat! (curry, fish and chips, roast dinner at the weekend). 5 days of the week, very low carbs. I don't worry too much about fat or meat.
That's exactly what I do. Indian last night (Sat), roast lamb at dinner today. Eat like a member of Weightwatchers for the other 5 days. I think it's not far off the easiest weight loss diet to follow, as although the weight may not drop off quite as quickly with a stricter 7 day calorie control diet, the psychological 'reward' of decent food at the weekend is almost Pavlovian and makes the weekdays so much easier and hence consistency is easier. BP good as well.I'm going to be going on a diet soon, and this thread has been quite useful.
I think I've found that bread doesn't agree with me, so I'm mostly going to give it up. I might try and eliminate most carbs through the week, or at least eat in moderation.
Will allow myself a treat on a weekend as you're all saying, otherwise I doubt I'll stick to it.
Need to lose 3 stone and its pretty much all in the belly / moob region.
