My apologies.
I removed a post about the date for the lockdown ending and the following few posts discussing that. They were off topic and there are other threads for that.
I unknowingly pruned a fair number of subsequent posts which should have remained.
Sorry.

My post about getting tinnitus is gone too. I've opened a yellow card for that and the GP is supportive so it was real.

Medical professionals have various legal responsibilities about reporting AEs so I hope they were supportive! Not sure if you take any other prescription/otc drugs short or long term but this should be reported against all of them not just the vaccine I believe

So, after having shivers that made it difficult to breath (cold control room, 4 in the morning), 38 hours later, still sweating a bit and feel yuck.

Had asymptomatic covid in Feb, 5K run fit but not an athlete. Went to local boots and was all very straight forward. You'd think they've done this before!

Had astrazenica as I've just ticked 40 and was absolutely fine until about 20 mins ago when I started shaking like a junkie and struggled to pour milk. Limbs hurting now. Feels like flu. Going to be a fun night!

Will get up early and go for a jog regardless, saw that the clotting rate for >30's may be as high as 1 in 50000 so the paranoia is setting in. It's a really busy week for me so this st better be over soon.
Just to add to this, I was flu-like and tired all Sunday, felt a bit washed out at work on Monday and then back to normal after a good sleep. Still, worse than I expected.

I had my 2nd Pfizer BioNtech jab last Wednesday.
Weds night I wasn't feeling great. Went to bed early, and was hot / cold all night.
Thurs, no strength at all. Felt really lethargic, no energy.
Thurs night, early to bed....same poor sleep as Weds.

Saturday I was helping a friend with some building work.
Usually I'm really cracking through stuff. Not that day. I was fked by 2pm!

Sunday, went cycling, wasn't too difficult.

Yesterday after work I went to the gym. I've not sweated that much, since, well, ever!

Still not 100% today, TBH.

I'm 37, had 1st pfizer vaccine yesterday at 10am. Sore upper arm after an hour or so and stayed that way. Still no change at time of posting. Had a very mild headache this morning that went away with ibuprofen/paracetamol.

Wife, 32 had her 1st pfizer at the same time, has the same sore upper arm. No headache.

All good so far, had I not had the jab i'd just be thinking I had a headache/lifted too much at gym.

Neither of us have had covid that we are aware of - we have returned multiple negative covid tests and antibody tests.

Has anyone had any long term fatigue effects from the AZ vac? I had really bad initial side effects following the first and the fatigue seems to have stayed.

I've had my second now and am still exhausted by 2pm. It's weird.

I was like this after my first AZ jab - felt horrible up until almost exactly 48 hours later, then the side effects cleared, leaving me just feeling tired. Tired, and because the only paracetamol I had was co-codamol, a little bit spaced smile

I've had COVID in the past, not sure how that affects things.

Out of interest, if you’ve had COVID and quite obviously survived, what made you go for the Vaccine? Travel/health passport benefits?

A combination of travel for work (if it ever starts up again) and the fact that I had COVID back in December 2019, and as there was no testing available so I couldn't be 100% sure if it was actually COVID, even though the symptoms were all identical.

When I woke up in the middle of the night feeling lousy after my first jab, the side effects were almost identical to how I felt in Dec 2019, so I am now 100% sure that's what it was.

In an ideal world I would have just had an antibody test and used that instead, but when I looked they didn't seem entirely easy to get, so just went to get jabbed.

Fair enough, makes sense. I expect most people’s reasons will be the same, including my own.

I was having this conversation with a guy last week. He’s just had COVID (tested positive with all the symptoms). He was saying he was off for his jab but has to wait 28 days after his isolation period.

It’s only when you say it slowly you realise how stupid it sounds! hehe

Had my 2nd AZ Vaccine 10 days ago and no side effects whatsoever...
1st jab caused a sore arm which developed about 3 days after having it, and that was gone too in about 10 days...

Has anyone had Covid after the first Pfizer jab?

Had a cold and chesty cough for last three days that's done the rounds with family seen over last weekend. Felt lethargic and not able to get out of bed Monday but thats gone, my nose has been blocked like a bad cold and Chest is now getting phlegmy.

Done two flow tests and negative but wondering if this is Covid Lite lol.

Funny as I've just received an invite for dose 2 for next week.

Localised tenderness of the arm muscle, bit of a head ache.
