Have you done much research into 'The Highwire' and its presenter, Del Bigtree?

It's really hard to take seriously someone who is an Andrew Wakefield supporter and has so obviously misrepresented science repeatedly.

He actually encouraged his viewers to deliberately get infected with Covid 19.

That's before we get to the situation of his support for trump's lies regarding the election, which rather seals the deal that he's genuinely nuts.
I couldn’t care less for the host tbh, only interested in the scientist involved. His is the only viewpoint that needs to be taken with any credibility

Local paper running a story
Do you have a link? I have seen lots of Reach PLC and Newsquest titles running generic non-local stories across their networks, they must be performing quite well for them to be syndicated like that.

Saw one Newsquest title yesterday literally publish incorrect covid stats, I would check it is daylight outside if they reported it.

Had 1st Pfizer jab last Thursday, side effects were a bit of sore injection site and lethargy for 2 days. No other issues and been fine since.

Thanks - bit of an odd one after a light dig https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/lifestyle/health-w... and similar appear to be the article, the graph source is given as UKColumn.org - despite it being UK Gov yellow card scheme.

Note for Yellow Card submission "Part of our monitoring role includes reviewing reports of suspected side effects. Any member of the public or health professional can submit suspected side effects through the Yellow Card scheme. The nature of Yellow Card reporting means that reported events are not always proven side effects. Some events may have happened anyway, regardless of vaccination. This is particularly the case when millions of people are vaccinated, and especially when most vaccines are being given to the most elderly people and people who have underlying illness" etc

UK Column as a source is an odd one as they say, "UK Column is an independent news organisation founded in 2006 by Brian Gerrish" who is an interest chap worth a google.

UK Column are upset as they have had their youtube channel closed, as they say because it 'revealed the early uk trail of vaccine damage' - in a way what the Courier content kind of is implying.

It is always fun to go back pre-covid to see what they were on about then, and Mr Gerrish was tweeting about 5G , gates, soros and the gem from 2019: "It takes declassified German documents before the British public knows what Queen has planned for them. This will be the same Elizabeth whose staff admitted that she had accepted mediatisation with regard to the EU." Wonder how that went!

Aside from the above, the raw bit of data that the article is ultimately based on is https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronav...

"The number of reports of menstrual disorders and vaginal bleeding is low in relation to both the number of females who have received COVID-19 vaccines to date and how common menstrual disorders are generally. The MHRA will continue to closely monitor reports of menstrual disorders and vaginal bleeding with COVID-19 vaccines."

"The current evidence does not suggest an increased risk of either menstrual disorders or unexpected vaginal bleeding following the vaccines."

Second Pfizer on Sunday. Had been coming to the end of a sinal infection that weekend, but yesterday (Monday) I was utterly fatigued by it, even trying to rest was uncomfortable!

Are they mixing vaccines now? I thought you had to have the same two jabs?
It turns out I actually did have a second OAZ jab, it appeared on my record, on the app a few days after. I wasn’t sure at the time.

Just had a thought actually - I'm booked in for my 2nd jab on Friday, and during my first one I distinctly remember them asking about certain prescription medications such as aspirin, but am struggling to remember the others.

I'm having the AZ jab and have recently been prescribed Naproxen for an old rib injury I've inflamed, are these or the PPI's that accompany them likely to cause an issue?

It’s the blood thinning properties of aspirin they are concerned about, I believe. Any blood thinners seem to be a concern.

NSAIDs were under scrutiny originally, but the advice was changed.

But with clotting an issue for some, wouldn’t thinners be a good thing?

Logic would suggest that. There was no concern about my daily Aspirin when I had my AZ jabs.

Second doses have become so common with people I know and nothing more than sore arm etc or feeling flu-y overnight that I forgot this thread existed.

So hope that bit of rubbish anecdotal info helps !

This was my concern, however from replies on this thread and a bit more Google-fu, I'm struggling to see that they'll be a problem, so cheers!

Unless you bleed like a slaughtered lamb when the needle goes in. I don’t believe that concern has been realised though.

Second AZ for last week, nothing to report not even soreness from the needle this time.
