I had the Oxford jab on Friday morning. It was so undramatic I had to ask the chap if it had been done.
Me too, except it was a chapess. She said I'd feel a slight scratch, and that was exaggerating it. Like someone had gently touched my arm with a drawing pin. I felt a right idiot the moment after I said "Was that it?" in case she thought I was unimpressed.

I had the OAZ jab yesterday. Today the arm it was given in feels a bit dead, and I felt a little bit ‘hungover’ this morning. Overall though, I’ve had worse days after a decent night out on the lash, so as long as that’s as bad as it gets, I’ll take that.

I had mine on Saturday (OAZ). Jab didn’t hurt but shoulder bled a bit.

Rested on Saturday other than a couple of walks. Did a run on Sunday and just felt as tired as usual and did a session in the gym this morning.

Bit of a bruise where the jab was but shoulder is more painful an inch or so below the bruise (red at that spot but not bruised there)

No other issues.

Mrs21 and I had our second Pfizer this weekend, arm ached slightly next day but nothing else. Nor any of my team at work who all had theirs last week.

Sure there are genuine side effects but I think a lot of people are are looking for something.

I couple easily say I woke up on Sunday with a shocking headache and dizziness, ignoring the two bottles of red the previous evening.

Had the Moderna first jab 24 hours ago, very slick operation in Northampton, felt a very slight scratch.

Arm has progressively become a bit more painful since, feels like someone has punched it.

Not really sure if I am more tired etc, certainly no flu like symptoms.

If your reaction to this situation is laughter and suspicion, then you don't understand what's happening, or the definiton of "safe" in clinical terms.

It is safe. It is already proven safe. If rare blood clots are found to be related to the vaccine, and added to guidance around potential side effects, then the vaccine is still safe, it is only that a rare side effect has been discovered. It is not uncommon for drugs and treatments to have guidance such as this added, it does not render them "unsafe". Safety has been proven.
It's been unsafe for the people who have died from side effects...
This is a spectacularly stupid, and quite irresponsible thing to say. By your defintion, driving cars is not safe. Getting out of bed in the morning isn't safe. Easting shellfish isn't safe. I'm willing to bet you engage in at least two of these activites.

Safe, in this context, is a clinically defined term. If safety is proven in clinical trials, the vaccine is safe to take. It was, and it is. It is as safe as every other approved medication you've ever taken or ever will take, in some cases even more so.

Besides from that, and I say this for the umpteenth time, and I don't apologies for shouting, THE INCIDENTS YOU SPEAK OF ARE AS YET NOT PROVEN TO BE LINKED TO THE VACCINE AND ARE WELL WITHIN THE NORMAL NUMBERS OF SUCH THINGS YOU WOULD EXPECT TO HAPPEN ANYWAY.
Calm down dear, they haven't been declared safe.

I've seen documentation from one developer that said theirs won't be deemed safe until trials are complete in two or three years and, until then, it must be considered experimental. I'll try to find it again and post up the link for doubters.

In addition, no trials have been run to determine adverse effects arising from conflicts with other medication.

That's why I'm steering clear.

Wines never affected me like that before... must be the vaccine... or maybe being vaccinated with two bottles still in the system did it hehe

Have you seen the list of possible side effects for medications like paracetamol and aspirin?

If these vaccines had been around for even a tenth of the time of paracetamol and aspirin have then you may have a point. But they haven't so you don't!

Had first jab ( Astra Zeneca ) on Saturday afternoon. Woke up Sunday feeling a bit hung over, tired and just listless, same for most of the day. Fine this morning. Mrs RJ had the same jab at the same time, Sat night / Sunday morning she couldn't sleep due to being freezing one minute then roasting the next, she had full on flu like symptoms all day Sunday and was totally wiped out but like me was fine today.

Do you have evidence to suggest they may suddenly turn deadly? How would that happen?

There can be no evidence for unforeseen circumstances. If there were, Thalidomide would not have made it to market.

There is no possible comparison with Thalidomide though. It's kind of insulting to the scientists who've developed these vaccines to bring that up.

It's the principle, not the product.

If you want alternatives, try Diethylstilbestrol, Fenfluramine/phentermine and Mibefradil, to name a few.

Other drugs have been withdrawn after lengthy use, look them up if you have doubts.

Has my first jab on Friday. Felt fine all day Friday but Friday evening I shivered constantly for about 6 hours. Slept fine and shivers stopped in the night. Next day very tender arm a couple of inches below where I had the jab. Next day fine and no more side effects

My better half had arm pain that radiated to her shoulder and under her arm for about 12 hours after hers but nothing more

My brother had an achy arm with tingling down to his fingers on and off for about 24 hours

As far as we know, none of us have had Covid

I don’t know anyone who has had serious side effects

Your brother might. Did he get checked out?
