Day 6 after my first OAZ ( yesterday ). This is when the real issues have been reported thus far. Bang on cue, I was woken up with excruciating pain ( real eye watering sweat inducing pain ) on my left side, by my kidney. I took myself off to a walk in NHS place, and sat down, white as a sheet, shaking like a stting dog, and in some serious discomfort. Eventually I was seen, they asked pertinent questions, then advised taking paracetamol and seeing how it goes. I was told to return today if it hadn’t improved. The paracetamol trick did work, but I had to take loads to kill the sting off enough to get to sleep. I still had a dull ache this morning, and it had gone by this afternoon. Was it a clot? I don’t know, did it ( whatever it was ) hurt? yep. Have I ever experienced anything like it before? No. I’m not getting the second dose, screw that.
That's terrible. I mean, what are the chances. Somebody who's seemingly come onto PH purely to argue against vaccines, and then goes on to publicly declare a really bad reaction and state that he's not going to have the second one.I don't know, maybe you're absolutely genuine and just unlucky. Maybe.
i posted a while back on this thread - to recap .
OAZ Apr 3 - first few days was shivers headaches and general un-wellness, solved by paracetamol .
About a week later started to get a sore spot under my throat on the left, gland swollen, then it went into my left ear, and when i ate my teeth ached like nothing before, the pain would wander from the top tooth to the bottom whenever it wanted - so it was nerve related. Took anti-inflams for a few days with no success, then i started getting dizzy, like proper fall over dizzy.
phoned GP, antibiotics and anti dizzy pills (no alcohol allowed, booo)
still al the same for 5 day course, now pain behind my left eye and pain shooting up my left temple.
did some google searching - ugh,
blood clots, brain tumours, all the bad stuff came up
phoned GP again,
same prescription, but when i mentioned OAZ jab the tone changed and he insisted there was nothing at all to do with it
another 5 days on - not driving, no drinking
GP thursday just gone - decided to give me powerful anti inflams instead (and blood tests), gave no reason for the change of action, so asked why at then end she said she thought it wasnt bacterial but a viral infection spreading up my left hand said of my head
i mentioned the OAZ jab again and she again went super defensive -
"impossible"...then a glance at the dates....."it was a week before your symptoms, high unlikely"..."just an infection could happen at any time"
so perhaps they are right, - i dunno - i still would always get the vaccine, i dont want covid and dont want to die through other complications of my health, (hence why i am getting it early) but i've never had a viral infection as far as i remember in my entire adult life until now
anti inflams worked, after just 2 days, no pain anywhere and no dizzyness
waiting on the bloods to see if its an infection i am fighting.

To get symptoms about 1 week after a vaccine is very unlikely though. Inflammatory effects from your immune system would typically peak 24-48 hours, not 7 days....OAZ Apr 3 - first few days was shivers headaches and general un-wellness, solved by paracetamol .

Who knows.
Probably some of the posters above should be reporting their issues post vaccine
https://www.nhs.uk/apps-library/yellow-card/
although I have to admit one of them sounds very much like kidney stones rather than a vaccine reaction (rider73 I don't mean you, swollen lymph node on the neck at the same side as the injection is a known common side effect as your body immune system reacts, I get the same with bites from insects sometimes although not as severe as you).
It's easy to blame any medical issue in the week post vaccine on the vaccine itself but it may just be another medical issue that's unrelated.
Sounds like I was fortunate not to have really any side effects. Most of my friends or colleagues I speak to are similar but the ones that have had side effects mostly report a very short lasting chill / sweating episode which cleared within a day or so.

After reading reviews on here, I was a little considered getting my vaccination..
Had mine Friday morning - AZ. Felt a little tired towards the end of the working day. Went to bed a little earlier than usual. Woke up the following morning with what felt like a hangover, took some tablets and was a little spaced out for most of Saturday. Was able to wash the car and do normal chores. That evening I went to bed and felt myself burning up randomly for a few hours then it stopped. Sunday was back to normal, little pain in the arm..
I am 46, take vitamin supplements, not the fittest I have even been..

39 and had mine (az) Thursday evening. Felt OK, and then by friday lunch time a 4/5 pint hangover kicked in.
Lasted until Saturday lunch time. Even Sunday things not quite right. Did some gardening on the Sunday and that sapped my energy. First day pubs open in Wales tonight and thankfully I've managed 3 pints unscathed.
Those around my age who have had it all experienced the same.

If AZ is supplying "vaccine" at cost, how can that boost its share price?
The announcement that the Serum Institute in India is to start supplying it at a profit was what prompted the boost.I'm 74 and had my second AZ this morning at 10.55.
I've got a raging thirst, having drunk two pints of water in 90 mins, but apart from that, feeling fine so far.
I had a bit of an after lunch doze, and woke feeling really positive. I've got a couple of bits of writing to do by tomorrow and I'll probably complete them today, just in case.

Who knows.
The deaths that have been attributed to the OAZ vaccine have all occurred between 6 and 28 days after the jab, as far as I’m aware.Who knows.

They don’t have such a sudden onset, and don’t tend to shift in a few short hours. But as I said, I genuinely don’t know what it was, but I just thought it was suspect that it happened at about the time when the fatal side effects have been reported. There have been no repeats thus far, so who knows.Smiljan said:

That’s true, but I’ve had no medical issues at all ( not even a cold or flu ) in 47 years, and have never even had a single day off sick, in 27 years. I really don’t ‘go wrong’ normally.Smiljan said:

Yes, it sounds like you got lucky. The only side effects I had initially were a dead arm, and a couple of hours that felt like I had a mild hangover. Then nothing until this thing happened, and nothing since. It’s a strange one for sure.Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
