Vaccine side effects
Discussion
I've kept following this thread even though I had my two Pfizer on 3/2 and 3/3, neither causing any discomfort other than feeling I had a slight bruise on my arm after the second one, but that could have been just the way the jab was given. Now I'm 75 and I have, like many people, discussed the side effects with friends and so many of the reactions reported are rather alien to most of us. Is it worse as the vaccine is given to younger and younger people? SWMBO felt groggy for a day or so after the AZ (she is ten years younger than I), but suffered no side effects after the second dose. My daughters, aged 45 and 43 seem not to have suffered either, both having had the AZ. Obviously and naturally this thread reveals those who have suffered rather than those who haven't but is there research on the degree of suffering according to age?

Yes, generally it effects younger people more. Maximus_Meridius101 said:

To get symptoms about 1 week after a vaccine is very unlikely though. Inflammatory effects from your immune system would typically peak 24-48 hours, not 7 days....
Who knows.
The deaths that have been attributed to the OAZ vaccine have all occurred between 6 and 28 days after the jab, as far as I’m aware.Who knows.

Yep, I'd like to see this too.
9 suspected ( or 10 now apparently) in Germany.https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-germany-to-sus...
And 23 suspect incidents in Norway.

You're just making stuff up. Did you use that as an excuse for a day off work with back ache or are you another anti-vaxxer?

So zero deaths attributable to the OAZ vaccine and no mention of anything happening between 6 and 28 days after the jab.

There’s plenty of stuff out there about the 6-28 day time scales, do your own homework. I didn’t take any time off, because it happened at the weekend. I’m not an anti vaxxer, I just don’t like being jabbed with an experimental vaccine that has potentially pretty serious side effects, without being paid for it.You're just making stuff up. None of these deaths are as yet attributable to the vaccine.
“As yet”. There’s no smoke without fire, I believe it’s a case of when, not if, the links are confirmed. Maximus_Meridius101 said:

The clotting thing is well out of proportion. People happily fly on a plane or take the contraceptive pill which have higher risks.

And not an "experimental vaccine" either.
Thanks for confirming your anti-vaxxer status.

Vague attempt to keep this on track26 hours in with Moderna
Arm pain has increased but not too bad at all, continue to feel a bit grotty/shivery but again nothing to really write home about, if this is the worst it gets I'll be well chuffed
To anyone who isn't or doesn't want the vaccine could I suggest one of the numerous threads and leave this to people who may be interested in the side effects people are experiencing

What would sate your fury, burn him at the stake?Or would a bit of pointy finger stuff suffice?

Has the vaccine caused any deaths? Possibly, but not necessarily definitely.
