It is well established that for single stranded RNA viruses such as influenza, natural immunity after recovery from infection provides better protection than vaccination

The same has been shown for SARS-CoV-2; in one study, individuals exposed to natural infection were ten-times less likely to be reinfected compared with vaccinated individuals without natural infection

More evidence on natural immunity anyone from the NEJM, continued fingers in ears and hands over eyes still. Not very unscientific lads, but it's part of the formation psychosis i guess. See you're not concerned with the merging evidence at all, however find comfort in ad hom attacks.

- Did you know about this or the Lancet article, No
- Concerned over what It says, No
- Willing to follow the new evidence wherever it goes, No

https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2108120

Ask yourself, why are all the counties around the world that have very low vaccine take up, why aren't waves of terror and deaths (not cases) from covid occuring in all those places? Should be right, vaccine rescue hasn't taken place there.

Awaits further comfort seeking 'I've not been conned' replies.

Edit - IF any my perceived No's above are actually Yes, please present your evidence for this and I will duly correct my hypothesis.

Well the lancet article quoted above has referenced this further study as to why it was a reasonable statement to claim that 'it was well established that recovery from infection provided better protection' which you seem to disagree with.

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41577-019-0143-6

I'm not sure exactly how you think your graph from the FT in any way negates that claim but perhaps you would know better than Florian Krammer who was the author of that study being referenced......

There was a time when certain posters were claiming the vaccine didn’t work at all, one notable loon even claiming they caused a case spike. Now the same people are reduced to comparing how much they work.

Reality really is a bh.

Seriously? hehe

I mean, with this momentum, you are seriously becoming the official Sherpa of "confused conspiracy connoisseurs" out here.

Yes seriously.

You are the person making the claim that the lancet article was incorrect about whether infection was superior to vaccination. That article reference a further nature study.

Kindly expand on how that nature study is wrong then per your earlier post stating 'it is not well established yet'.

IMO, it's a waste of time. You can't educate pork. After the disaster of proclaiming the certified liar as the utmost authority on covid, the rest is just simple repeater mode. Tomorrow it's going to be yet another theory from Infowars or wherever they get their 'research' done.

It's quite entertaining, especially with an occasional read of an echo chamber, populated mostly by pensioners and rather simple labourers armed with primary school education and 2.7 mins of google searches.

I’m still awaiting confirmation that he believes McCullough, after pages of telling us how great the man is then being hit by the fact McCullough is a fantasist from the very page of Wikipedia he linked to. Absolute classic. Can they even read ?

Talk about barrel scraping.

V6 you appear to need something else to occupy your days/weeks months
I asked before and will again what will you do with your real life once this finally passes.

you appear to be consumed.
alternatively what did you do with your time before this kicked off?
I genuinely want to know as you may be a little too consumed by all of it.

A tad misplaced I feel, as the majority of my posts are just responses to a resident loon, and if you are stalking you’d know the reason why I’m here as I’ve stated it many times.

Pretty much this.

If anyone needs to find something constructive to occupy their time it's the conspiracy theorists and the people complaining about conspiracy theorists being corrected.

It takes minutes to prove the conspiracy theorists incorrect... I can't imagine how long it takes sifting through mountains of evident arrayed against you to find some obscure YouTube video with no evidence behind it what so ever.

Erm... What colour is the sky on the planet where you live?

It's not V6 that is "consumed" here.

Absolutely right and thankfully most welcome this progression.

Some among us still have the covid passport app on their phones home screen and their jab card on the fireplace as a reminder of when they felt purpose in life. It won't be welcomed for some to relinquish that new feeling of meaning, the ad hom attacks are evidence of this as I makes no sense to actively debate a loon.
