Absolutely right and thankfully most welcome this progression.

Some among us still have the covid passport app on their phones home screen and their jab card on the fireplace as a reminder of when they felt purpose in life. It won't be welcomed for some to relinquish that new feeling of meaning, the ad hom attacks are evidence of this as I makes no sense to actively debate a loon.

I’ve made a note that any ad hom comments will be evidence of actively debating a loon. So we will avoid them.

Thanks.

This thread has provided some good laughs. We had a guy who believes that a random acupuncturist is a valid source of info. The coward who's too stupid to apologize when proven that he's both dense and has no class, the simple cannon fodder who'll believe anything including the chemtrails. With not much better cast of 'supporting' characters.

Anti-vaxxers in a nutshell.

Bill Gates: "Sadly the virus itself - particularly the variant called Omicron - is a type of vaccine, creates both B cell and T cell immunity and it's done a better job of getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines."

Sadly.
Interesting clip over on the main CV19 thread

That clip is only 'interesting' to people like you and grumbledoak (that guy's so unhinged it's not even funny), for the reasons already explained. At this point, I actually feel a little bit sorry for you.

Had a quick look at that 'main thread'; If anyone has any doubt as to how people like Wakefield can still peddle his MMR bullst and make money out of it, they just need to spend five minutes reading that thread. So much anger, envy and abject lack of education.

Maybe it’s some sort of persecution complex resulting from lack of education, where someone thinks everyone is out to get them as they don’t really understand something so go straight to assumptions. Good old internet brings them together and bingo you have the echo chamber of half baked made up skewed ste.

The hilarious part is they don’t think they’re loons rofl

Shock. I was not and am not going to 'vax'. Last year I focussed on improving my insulin resistance.

Are you referring to the Bill Gates video?

I'm not saying he's out to get anyone, but an expression of disappointment that people have been able to develop immunity via a milder mutation of SARS-COV-2 doesn't sound like the words of someone who wants to save you.

The consequence of Omicron is quite fortunate is it not?

The problem that you have is that you judge others by your own, demonstrably low standards. Luckily, for you, you seem too dense to understand that. To anyone even remotely the intention is quite clear. To trash that implies that people are lying, then not having the balls to apologize when proven wrong, obviously not so much.

Write something coherent and I won't have to disappoint you with such a predictable retort.

Disappointment implies initial, however low, expectations. Judging by your posts, nobody had any expectations, ever, from you.

Anything else?

Which part of this relates to my views on Bill Gates' statement?

I won't. You've not made any point relevent to COVID vaccines for several pages so I presume you won't be having anymore.

In other words "I don't like what you've said but can't argue with it because I know it's true".

As we've already discovered you need things repeated to you a few times in order to get them. There were no 'expressions of disappointment'. You are adding 2 and 2 and getting 5, which, once again is not really surprising. Even a couple of anti-vaxers understood that. Your 'veiws' on BG's statement are a result of who you are, as already explained. Even you should be able to understand that.

"Sadly, the virus itself, particularly, the variant called omicron, is a type of vaccine, that is, it creates both B-cell and T-cell immunity, and it’s done a better job getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines,” the Microsoft co-founder said. “That means the chance of severe disease, which is mainly associated with being elderly and having obesity or diabetes, those risks are now dramatically reduced because of that infection, exposure.”

Gates, who is not a medical doctor, noted that vaccination efforts moved too slowly for his liking.

“It’s sad we didn’t do a great job on therapeutics, only two years in, and we have a good therapeutic,” Gates said. “Vaccines have took us two years to be in oversupply. Today, there are more vaccines than there is demand for vaccines.”

Thankfully the world has moved on from covid to an actual threat.
