Ball chafing... alternatives to talc

I have just bought some of the under armour boxer jock 6 inch to reduce chafing when I run and they seem good so far.
They are tighter, but comfortable as thin, which means there is just less material to rub. The material they are made from is quite shiny (best word I can find to describe) so they sort of slide rather than rub, if that makes sense
I use these as well when playing rugby and running, really good for that. They are tighter, but comfortable as thin, which means there is just less material to rub. Wore them once for a full day hike, 8 hours or so. As you mention they're a bit tighter, and lets just say my cheeks didn't appreciate being brought in tighter for that length of time...!

Canesten is a good one, but a bit pricey, I think Sudocrem is cheaper and does the job of prevention and cure.
Canesten is pricey for a reason - it's effing goodYou can get it made by others and it's much cheaper.
It's also 6 x more expensive than Sudocrem which works perfectly for me, so why would I buy it?

To be fair the OP may have skinny thighs and balls like a pigs. Maybe he has knock knees and that's the problem. We still don't know what causes the chafing. Perhaps it's a group activity at the joiners reunion? Or, running with his legs in tight thongs or cable ties.
Did anybody else read this before scrolling down to see the size of the business in hand ?ok so potentially some further info here would help... although hadn't assumed i would be describing my meat in such detail on PH but here goes.
Maybe chafing is the wrong word... maybe that sent some people off to the wrong conclusion... it's just discomfort. Also it isn't recently standing or moving that's an issue; it's sitting and lying down. Unless dry as a bone (where the talc comes in) they just stick to my leg or each other and just generally feel totally uncomfortable and clammy. When dry they just seem to move freely and not stick, and we are all good. I tend to whack a dusting on there when i dry myself after a shower, and just before bed.
Think I'd prefer a powder to a cream... it does seem that there are some dedicated bk products but they seem to cost about 10x more than talc too.
