2022 - Back in shape - Accountability and Rollicking thread
Discussion
I was going to join in this year as I lost loads of weight during the first lockdown and got really healthy and fit but thought I’d have a good January and then I got ill with covid and couldn’t train much for the rest of the month, I then kept getting what felt like chest infections especially after cold water swimming and running so I dialled it all back to make sure I recovered properly. Obviously I didn’t dial back my scoffing too as as I’ve put on about a stone (at least) since January!
Well done everyone else for sticking with it.
I’m inspired (again) to get back on the wagon and sort it out.

Just found this thread. Interesting. Do people just post their stats?
I'm 6'1", 277lbs and want to be about 230-240. Is it just a thread to keep track and try and be motivated? Sorry if this sounds odd!!
Gained the weight due to a back injury, although naturally I am quite stocky, played rugby, weightlifting in past years etc. 40 y/o...

Is there room for one more?
I am 17 stone, 188cm and want to get to 12 stone by the end of the year.
I started a week ago and did a 4 day fast monday through thursday and have shed 5 lbs / 2.3 kg. I am planning to do another one next week.
Yes of course. Added to page 1, add yourself to the wiki. I am 17 stone, 188cm and want to get to 12 stone by the end of the year.

Bugger! Up a kilo this week. I've been bad though, eating junk and drinking alcohol, mostly junk though. Ate a whole packet of HobNobs over two evenings watching TV. And I've stopped the exercise as well.
Next week, back on the rowing machine and less crap!
You keep going that way and I'll ask for that snickers back I never gave you Next week, back on the rowing machine and less crap!

And......... I'm back in.
Original starting weight on 03/01/22 81.65Kg, Target set for 76Kg, on 20/02/22 I was 75.75Kg so hit that and left....
We had twins on 10/02/22 and whilst they don't force you to eat then don't make it easy to train and it was kind of inevitable, but this is life right? and its more important to focus on the recovery safe in the knowledge that I have done it before.
The issue for me has always been portion/food control - I have no trouble in eating healthy but I don't feel full straight away which just leads to over-eating and excessive snacking inbetween meals, and then once it starts, a bad day turns into a week, a month and so on.... I'm now only getting to train 3-4 times a week vs the 6 so the food is more important this time around.
So the sequel. Sat 21/05/22 I was 80.5Kg and now already down to 78.7Kg and feeling better already.
Can I be added back to the Wiki, and removed from the wall of shame? Which tbh is where I belong
