Static this week as well, eatting snacks I'm the evening has halted the trend down (though I like to think its because am putting oh muscle through weight training smile). Overall nearly there to my target but need to refocus, and get there. Deadline is end of May, should be possible.

Bugger! Up a kilo this week. I've been bad though, eating junk and drinking alcohol, mostly junk though. Ate a whole packet of HobNobs over two evenings watching TV. And I've stopped the exercise as well.

Next week, back on the rowing machine and less crap!
You keep going that way and I'll ask for that snickers back I never gave you

You haven't seen his Le Mans meal plans!! biggrin

I've not been great, and mostly seen 13st13 all week, but 13st11 this morning so I'll call that as a win!

Not been that good, but exercising, dropped a bit again to 15.11, been ill with a cold this week and a blocked ear which is driving me insane, so no exercise.

Evening everyone, I know I'm late to the party but can I join?
I'm the heaviest I've ever been at 19 stone 8, 124.2kg and it's really getting me down tbh.
I just can't seem to do myself eating... Even when I'm not hungry!
An online kick up the arse is probably just the ticket

I am going to post my stats as well - just ordered a digital scale online! I’m about 14 stone and should be 12.5. Would be happy with 13.

You can do it! Just dont panic and try rushing the weight loss, it’s a marathon not a sprint. Just record what you’re eating, (there’s some decent apps) then go from there, try knocking off 500kcal from whatever it is your eating a day and exercise more even it’s it’s just walking. Start thinking about healthier foods, loads of resources out there with meal ideas.

You’ll start to feel rejuvenated and positive after just a week or two

Well done - that’s a consistent fall due to I’m sure a decent amount of effort.

Great to see the progress

Without being rude, you know what you need to do so make a choice and either moderate your eating or accept that for now you don’t have the motivation or will power to do it. It’s your body & your choice to change

If you are not ready to change your habits then don’t obsess over it and look to try when you are ready….though I think you are ready so get on with it smile

3 things

1) get some healthy food in so you can eat volume without eating loads of calories - protein rich foods are filling and relatively low calories.

2) distract your self if you feel hungry with something else and that will tell you if you really are hungry - it’s a habit to break eating for the sake of it

3) move more - walk or gym will improve your mood and fitness

As soon as you see the progress you will feel inspired and get on a roll so make a start !!

Good luck - the principle of weight loss is easy, doing it in practice not as much

I'm certainly ready!
Thanks for the advice, I will read the rest of the thread to see what everyone else has been doing.
I'm working nights this week too so I can get swimming (low impact for joints)
Boredom is certainly something I struggle with when munching on stuff. I will report back!
I weighed on Monday and have been eating healthy foods this week so I will weigh again on Monday.

Thanks for the comments, honestly didn't think it was possible, but plenty of people on here are also managing.

Self displine is key, as others have said its not magic, but breaking the routing of eatting when/where you want isn't easy.

Hopefully I've established a new routine for my self, had to literally tighten the belt today - DIY at its best. Am still not there yet though, another few weeks to go.

Weight gain 0.5kg - loss this year 12.5kg

I’ve been reverse dieting and clearly run over the curb
Last week didn’t go too well so I’ve tightened up a little again this week.

Lost the weight gain from last week plus a little more

Weight loss 0.75kg - total weight loss this year 13.45kg (from 89.1 to 75.75kg)

I’ve got into a nice place now - one night out a week which is a little more moderated than it used to be then a decent diet the rest of the week and lots of exercise

Have a good weekend all

97.9kg today. Not as much as I thought when I started this, but I am much slimmer in appearance...
