I’m in this year. 2021 was tough with lots of work and personal stuff, meaning health took a back seat.

Currently 12st 2lbs and I’d like to be 11st 5lbs again, same as when I was at my best for cycling two years ago. I have some events booked in May so the motivation / goals are there!

MyFitnessPal fully back in action after a fairly boozy Christmas. Will check in weekly and good luck everyone.

I'm in I'm currently 104kg need to reduce this.
I've signed up for a C25k and bought a treadmill I started this at the start of December but this past week it's gone out the window need to get back on it.
My sister has pushed me to join her running club as a beginner so I have also signed up for this which kicks off on the 13th January.

I should probably join in properly this year! Ended 2020 at 93.5kg (up from 89 where I was pretty happy) and joined the 2021 thread in a vague sort of way. Had an on and off go at it all year seeing 92kg at a couple(!) of points.

Finished Christmas 2021 at 93.5kg. irked But I'm already on it, only hampered but a borked ankle. rolleyes

Going to get an exercise bike and potentially a rowing machine, both of which we were thinking about anyway but will allow me to get some exercise while my ankle recovers.

And eat/drink a lot less obvs.

I’m in, 296.6lb (134.7kg, 21st 3lb) this morning.
That’s about 16lb up on September when I could fit in my racesuit last. That’s disgusting.

I went to Cannock chase on my long suffering MTB yesterday. Got pissed off with the little kids whizzing up the hills around me while I had a heart attack. Enough is now enough.

Objective 1 is get under 20st. I reckon that’s achievable by the end of January.
Objective 2 is get under 19st. I’ll give myself until the end of March for that.
Objective 3 is get under 18st and stay there by the end of the year without feeling like I’m starving myself.

Main exercise methods will be cycling, dinghy sailing and gym.
Good luck fellow fatties.

I’m in. I’ll pop on the scales later but reckon I’m pushing 110kg now having spent most of my adult life below 85kg (I’m aged 55).
I have a ski trip booked for early march so would like to get close to 100kg by then to ease the strain on my knees but the goal is to get below 90kg and stay there.
Cutting the booze out and getting back out the bike again are going to have the biggest short term impact for me so I’m starting dry January today also.
Good luck everyone.

I'm in. Just weighed myself, 113kg. Stupid thing is I actually do stuff. Hour dog walk each day, cycle 3/4 times a week, run sometimes. Could quite happily bash out 40/50 miles right now. Did have a blood test just before Christmas to check there was nothing else other than gluttony going on. Am awaiting results but suspect I'm just a pig.

In the immortal words of MJ. Time to make that change (to my diet)

Initial target is 100kg. Ideally 95kg.

I’m in.

I don’t tend to share too much of my health online, but I’ve realised that it’s now 10 years since I went on the journey wondering what was up with my heart. And it’s now 9 years since I gave up meaningful exercise in order to protect my heart health (oh yes, the irony…!).

So weight loss - which I’ve tried and failed at many times - is only about diet for me; I can’t exercise my way out of it.

I was given some new clothes for Christmas. They all fit great but my heart sank when I looked at the labels: they are all XL. It isn’t that long ago medium was loose on me..!

So that’s it. Vanity I guess, but I’m sick of being fat, looking fat and struggling to do basic things like do up my shoelaces without it being an effort. I don’t want to go on holiday and be the bloater Brit sweating on the beach any more.

104kg this morning. Target is 80-85kg by the end of the year. And it has to stay off.

Good luck all, I managed to lose a couple of stones last year and am now at a weight I'm happy with.

Wishing you all the best with it.

I am a tubster at the moment (no scales so no idea how heavy I am)

Just ordering some electrolyte tablets and meal replacement shakes to give me ass a good kicking into the new year.

Going to give up booze for the month and maybe meat.

Nearly 5% weight gain over the last few weeks, despite on going exercise and commuting to work on the pedal bike.....I've clearly eaten all the pies smile.

It's going to take a good 6 months of not eatting any pies to loss those moments on the lips!!

Is there an app like "my fitness Pal" where we could form a PH group... Kind of a league table of fatties?

I havn't weighed myself for a month but was rapidly putting on weight at the end of 2021... ~105kg and I should be less than 90kg.

First child is being born in April, so I would really like to blast off 15kgs befor baby comes along.

I’m in. I’m about 120kg and need to get down to about 100kg.

I usually do Keto and running circa 25km a week. Not done either for about eight weeks.

Back on it from Monday.

Here’s proof I'm a hefty chuffer.

Currently have a back back and going out for drinks and an Indian tonight but my word you’re all going to lose to me!
