Weighed myself this morning .......258.6lbs.....urgh heaviest I have been in my life.

Goal would be to get down to as close to 200lbs as I can. As Im only 5'8 and that really cant be good for my health in general being that weight........

April 1st. Loser sends the winner a kitkat, chunky.
At current numbers the winner is going to receive 26 kitkats, that’ll undo a lot of good work! laugh

See, that's where you're going wrong. If you make this unpleasant it'll never work.

Gym and a walk, great. But don't starve yourself on top. Just eat less. So you have my permission for some cheese and crackers. Just not many, ok?

Count me in first time I've thought yea it's time to look after myself a bit better. Last few year as I've got close to 30 my weight been increasing. Last month really left it slip as I've been off work for a month and usual on my feet all day in a physical job.

So after this weekend cooked dinner tomorrow first cutting back on fizzy drinks cutting chocolate and mainly biscuits have been the biggest thing and the general grazing on rubbish throughout the day.
Also want to build fitness again after having a bad flu bug back in October that wiped me out for a good 2-3 weeks and still get out of breath pretty quickly.

So along with eating better thinking joining a local gym not only to keep in shape but to give me something to do during the winter months to keep my mental health positive after a rather difficult 2 years.
I will weight tomorrow so can add me to the list pretty sure I'm over 90kg ATM want to get down to 80kg which is what I was about 5 years ago when I was out doing trackdays and sprinting which is another thing I really need to get back into.

Good start. I did just under 4 miles with the dog earlier and half hour on zwift tonight (FTP test). Made scrambled egg with prawns for dinner (Foo Yung style) and myfitnesspal estimates 1291 calories consumed today, 1000 burnt during the day. Am hungry now tho!

Can anyone help with food ideas? Ideally things that I can cook on a rest day and take to work. Maybe three days worth. I have access to a fridge and a microwave at work.

Not helped by I’m a fussy eater. I struggle with certain foods due to the texture. Weird I know!

Onions, mushrooms and tomatoes aren’t possible.

I’m actually thinking just some chicken/beef cooked how I like it and some veg as I know I like it and it’s easy to do.

I've floated up and down between 115kg and 125kg for the last 40 years so 117.8kg isn't too bad... except that most of it seems to be migrating south and resting on my belt nowadays. As my neck , shoulders and arms seem to be getting skinnier, I reckon it's time to lose the belly too.
Target 100kg by my sixtieth in November '23 so hoping for 105kg by this time next year .
Feel free to rollick if I don't loose a kg per month.
Aiming for more cycling+swimming, trying yoga/callesthetics and dropping all snacking to begin with.

Late to the party, but could you add me to the fat bds hall of shame at 115kg.

Walk, run, cycle, weights and cut down on the booze.
And the greatest of these is cut down on the booze.

Aim is 90kg by end of May (this year!).
