Big congratulations! Is it your first?
Thank you. Yeah my first so equally excited and terrified! Parkrun this morning to kick start the year. My slowest parkrun time by almost 3 minutes. Last years NYD parkrun was 23:38, this years was 26:10 on the same course. On the upside I can only improve!six wheels said:
I’m in.
Currently over 123kg and have a family history of diabetes and strokes.
I need to sort myself out. This is ridiculous.
I've added you to the wiki. Please put in your target and comments.Currently over 123kg and have a family history of diabetes and strokes.

Don't forget to check back in on the wiki everyone. Try to do it weekly or fortnightly. Plus put in here how you're finding it, hints, tips and struggles and what you're doing to better yourself.

One thing I did (think it was r3g who told me to do it), was when you've lost some weight, visualise it.
Fill up lemonade or milk bottles with water. A big lemonade bottle is 2kg. Doesn't take long (if you're determined) for them to pile up!
Since I started I've lost an everage weight of a 6yr old child

Hi , I am in as need to lose weight since retiring from work a couple of years ago , having been doing the “walk 1000 miles” challenge but not lost any weight from it. I think diet and drinking more water will be My main changes this year , as well as getting up earlier and doing exercise stuff.
Will attempt wiki update later. ( done )
Cheers

Bit random, but I was in this group in 2019
I don't eat bread anymore, including pizza and I only drink rarely, holidays and birthdays etc.
Still train in tkd, but still no gym membership, I do press-ups when I can be bothered.

What’s everyone doing with the remnants of Christmas goodies? bingeing it all, ignoring it or trying to give it away?! I would hate to bin(ge) it all but struggle with the temptation of it all sitting there! I think I will take as much of it into the office as possible next time I am in and try and pass it on to people with even less willpower than me! Stopping booze I find no problem it’s the chocolate etc sitting there tempting me I find harder…

Local food bank or homeless shelter? You don't need/want it. Somebody out there desperately does.Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
