As an older feller my opinions are probably way out of date here, and one of my opinions is some of the unhelpful comments against the OP in this thread have been uncalled for.

Most women don't respect or want a man who comes across as needy or pleading, i suggest you find other outlets for your energy something that you enjoy, maybe going to the gym and building yourself and your energy and testosterone levels up, or take up banger racing mountain biking or your choice from any one or two of hundreds of enjoyable things to do that get you out in your own time and away from this situation for a few hours.
Pub is the last place i'd be going but each to their own.

Its obvious she's not interested in reviving whatever you might have once had presently, so change what the present is.
Doing something else and basically ignoring her as a sex partner might be an interesting trial, take the power back so she wonders why you no longer have need of the demeaning ration she dishes out, make yourself more desirable in the eyes of other women, you don't need to cheat (tempting and understandable as that might be) but when other women find you more interesting all sorts of reactions are possible, in all honesty what do you have to lose? a once a month leg over putting it crudely, i'd rather do without.

Despite all the feminist bks one hears these days, most natural women want to feel secure and safe in the arms of a strong chap who provides the bread and protects the family, the nuclear family might be out of fashion but its strong and it works, do you fulfil that role.

If its pain/discomfort after what may be normal sex i gave some thoughts upthread about different ways of making love if penetrative sex is really causing her pain, sometimes for women things change as time goes by and it might not be discomfort at the time but penetration can cause cystitis which follows a day or so after, this is a most unpleasant condition, think of pissing razor blades.
Its not the end of the world if penetrative sex is off the table, gentle oral stimulation and massage can be if anything far more erotic and pleasurable for both partners, surprisingly addictive for both when each learns and fulfills the other's rhythm and desires.

Mate had similar a few years ago, was always pained that there was sporadic nookie....

Anyways came to a head, decided life only goes past. And decided to do something about it, we cruise just them. lots of chat, and got the I love you buit not in love with you..... And that was that....

we need to see a lawyer, amicable split till she realised life wasnt going to go on as it had gone on. big wake up call.... and then the nasties started.

Whats he doing now ? Still around, got out to gym lost the excess and started dating. now with a clinical nurse nice house step dad to two nice kids and still involved with his own children. they stay at his more, his ex... bitter and shes not alone.... has a couple of cats.... lol

We have the opposite problem , I start work at 1 am so am in bed by 18.00 through the week , come Thurs my last day of the week I’m ready for some fun , wife says I’ll be through in a minute & im long gone after getting up at 1 am that morning , good she has a sense of humour & is also understanding , so Fri nights the night , and hols were like as rabbity as 60 yrs old can be .
Thinking retirement could be fun !!
