The only thing that can keep my mind off the pain is reading about others

How did you guys quantify the pain leading up to the treatment?

I've been in severe pain since Sunday with painkillers sometimes working for
A couple of hours. I've been under the knife twice for hernias and thought the pain of those when you come to
And try and move was bad...this is another level.

The pain leading up to my treatment was so intense that I couldn't operate at all. I didn't sleep for about 4 nights (sat up in bed to reduce the throbbing), and no over the counter drugs made any difference.

I remember the pain vividly. In comparison, apart from the impromptu snore, I can't remember anything about the treatment, other than that the mouth guard thingy was purple.

That's as good a comparison as I can give.

I had a root canal 2 weeks ago because I had a swelling on my gum. The tooth was dead, so no pain or injections smile However the swelling is still there and the same as before. How long should it take for this to go down?

I'm the same, swelling has went down a little, pains away though.
