A bit extreme but could you not skin graft from, say, the thigh? Ok, not useful if the tattoo is on the thigh, I suppose. biggrin

Yep you can cut the tattoo out and put a split thickness skin graft on it, it doesn't leave a great cosmetic result though !!

(with regards to the hairyl legs thing, we don't take the hair just the upper layer of the skin, so hair will not be transplanted)

I understand Sean Bean has a tattoo to do with Sheffield Rovers. Not appropriate for LOTR or Sharpe...he puts makeup over it.

Could you not have a flesh colour tatoo inked over the original?

I had one removed from the top of my arm.
They used a Ruby laser and after about 7 sessions said the skin won't take any more lasting as it would then damage the pigment.
However, the tat had by then faded to a point that to anyone that didn't know it was there couldn't see it.
Over the last couple of years it has faded even more and coupled with a sun tan it's invisible now.

Cost about £70 a session.
Bear in mind that in between sessions you mustn't let UV get to it as it can cause worst scarring.

My tattoo was only one colour (black) which appears to be easier to break down.
Some colours won't give very satisfactory results.

Pain wise, it was like what I'd imagine
boiling oil being splashed on you might feel like, and it can give a nice flesh burning smell too smile
Pain stops almost as soon as the laser
stops so no problem!

Eta - had min done at a SK:N clinic in Notts.

In terms of cost - my sisters ex business partner had quite large areas of tattoos removed from just his lower arms.
£16K in total

The smaller chap seems to have a strangely elongated left femur.I wonder is this a physical manifestation of his superhero powers?

I'm struggling to think where this could be an advantage though...perhaps he can lull enemies into a false sense of security with his

Riverdance(TM) routines before blasting them with a plasma beam? Yes,that must be it.

......Anyway as a warning to anyone even thinking of having a Tat done, when you grow uip and realise it looks scensorede this is what your tat will look like once you've had a laser session..
Or you could simply man-up and live with it?
