Looks pricey to me, unless I'm missing something?

Not far off. I sold mine with 50k miles for just under mid 30’s in August. Mind you mine was a better colour and had £1000 of ceramic coating https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202103240...

COVID-related market suppression looks to have caused price rises by of the order of 2-5K on low end models with the very few sellers coming to market having lifted the floor or entry point on Evoras to about 26-28k... I'm going to be watching carefully (and hoping) to see if this effect reverses as we come out of lockdown.
From my data records, in theory I can generate a chart that shows low, mean and high point for Evora prices over the last year, which would show this effect, If I get time later I'll try and generate it.

My impression, rightly or wrongly is that Hendy's prices generally are at the higher end.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202103240...

I plan to buy in about 2 months time when the market has settled.
Looking to be an IPS as I will use the car daily.
Would be interested to read threads on the IPS, especially as I just got out of an SLK55 because of how slow and dumb the gearbox was which ruined the experience for me.

I only track manual cars unfortunately, sorry, but here's the chart. This runs up to today, the watermark obscures the end of the axis annoyingly. The current minimum price car is a £22,000 very dodgy looking japanese import. If you discount that, the rise is even more pronounced.I plan to buy in about 2 months time when the market has settled.

I also think end of Evora/Elise/Exige production and publicity that has generated has helped firm up prices. Will be interesting to see what happens when the Type 131 is shown and whether existing owners trade in and what effect that has on availability/prices.
Place your bets now, which way is it going to go?1) Type 131 shown at similar price point to current GT410 and looks good. Owners jump to the new car, and more stock of high-end Evoras weighs on the market depressing prices down the chain...
2) Type 131 shown at similar price point to current GT410 and looks bad. Buyers swarm to secure "last of the true Lotus" cars, all Evoras rise further in rarity and price...

The gaps between the models are very defined. I guess it becomes more complex where the 131 has a range of engines and crosses between Elise pricing and Evora procing, eg do you go for the lower powered 131 for £60k or a used 410 sport for the same price?
I am inclined to think that the safest Evoras for your money are probably:
410 sport (it has enough differentiators in spec and there are not that many)
Sports Racer S (pretty rare and well sorted version of the original with those lovely seats)
n/a cars, not huge power levels but the sweetest handling
But thats my bias showing
Question for me is will the 131 tempt me away from my old Ferrari?
My feeling now is that the publicity around the 131 will shore up the prices at the lower end of the market. I think we'll see new buyers becoming aware of the car and increased confidence in the the long-term viability of the Lotus brand coming up against the very restricted number of cars available.
In the end it's Lotus low production numbers that will protect values for all models. Want an Evora Sports Racer? Only 100 to choose from. Want an Elise 1.6 Club Racer? 40 in the UK.
These are the sorts of numbers that million pound Hypercars are built in. There are 10 more La Ferraris in the UK than there are NA Sports Racers.
I know I'm exaggerating a bit by talking about sub-models, but even the total number of Evoras of all types is under 1000 units in the UK.

That’s an interesting chart Edited by Ryvita on Thursday 25th March 09:51
Is this correct average for manual NA, seems high?

It does doesn't it? But at the moment, there are very few cars on sale at all and those which are, are high priced. Is this correct average for manual NA, seems high?
Hence the speculation above, on what's going to happen as we come out of lockdown and the 131 is released. If these prices sustain, the average will have gone up by about 3k on a year ago.
Will Blackham looks to have sold the expensive red low miles NA, and replaced it with a far cheaper, earlier white car...

EDIT: Speaking to Will, I absolutely did not see it first... Don't think it will hang around long.
