There seems to be a massive hole in the market at the moment caused by lack of cars coming up for sale. I haven't seen a decent evora in the £30 to 40k range for a while and especially not supercharged ones. Seems like either bottom of the market early cars around £28k and then a big jump to some newer cars around £45k and up. Shame, I sold my S2 Exige and was considering an evora but looks like I'm going down a different path instead now.
Have left an email ( I think )

Hope I'm not breaking rule 6 here: I can confidently predict some of that 30-40k hole be filled in with a GP Edition S, within the next 8 weeks (assuming Alpine deliver on time).

& I have to agree with you. I've been keeping an eye on the market, & there's not been much up for sale for months now.

NA 2+2 with 37k miles - £31,495.

I messaged the seller but they don't know much about the car (weirdly).

What’s a GP Edition?

There were 12 of these & 3 were sold in UK. They look like this, although the UK cars are RHD & don't have the reflectors on the wheel arches. They have the same colour scheme as the 2012 F1 cars.

Doubt very much you'll find a GP edition in that price bracket.

This Evora was around Cranfield a couple of years ago, so I’d guess Allon White (who are listed in the SH) know the car.

I own a GP Edition, & when the time comes, I don’t think I’ll be asking as much as £40k for it. Having said that, the way prices have been going over the past 18 months, I’m thinking if I hang onto it, perhaps its value will exceed £40k. I’ve just sold another, more valuable car, so it’s not as though I need the money to pay for my new car.

There were two runs of GP Edition: the 350bhp S & later on the 410 GP Edition. Mine is one from the first run (2012 reg). I’d like to say more, but the PH Stasi don’t like it when people discuss the value of their own cars, & I don’t want them censoring this thread, so I’ll stop here.

Hi All
I bought the Aqua Evora That was advertised on Autotrader,
The reason it was for sale for such a long time was because the owner was on with moving house, and he also sold it once. he took a deposit and ended up in court due to the buyer pulling out as they couldn't raise the funds. I then bought it over the xmas period. Extremely pleased with the car and its history, I have also just taken her in for the MOT and Service with Foulds Lotus Specialist. I had the drop links and bushes done while she was there.
Extremely pleased with the car. And according to lotus it’s a one off, due to it having factory black seats but oyster dash and door trim. The original owner asked for full black interior on the order from new and then changed his mind to oyster during the build. As a compromise Lotus said they would keep the seats in black but change the oyster dash and door trim.

From certain angles the Evora looked bulbous and ungainly. However, from some it looked great and that particularly is the case with photos from above. I grabbed a few photos of mine looking down and it looks spectacular from that angle IMO.

It wasn't £20k but I did get her for a good price. she's only done 42k miles and very well looked after,
In my opinion the S1 Evora's in the last few months seem to have shot up in price again, and I think this is down to the release of the Type 131. They seem to be getting bought up by the purest of the Lotus world that own other Lotus cars. I do think you will get a £20k car but it will have high mileage and maybe not the best history. an S1 N/A with low mileage and good history you are looking at £29k to £34K at the moment and only a month ago one sold on a forum page for £34k.

Congratulations on the car Aqua T23, glad it's gone to a good home. The story of the sale's interesting and explains why it was so hard to get through to the seller! It's almost 'snap' though mine has the forged wheels and full oyster interior - fabulous thing... I'm starting to worry about mileage as I've done 4k since I got it in October despite the weather - I have a feeling it will end up being a high mileage example!
Horrible location but I found that my hotel room was above the car park last week so got a very 'overhead' shot, look at those curves :-)!
