I agree face value that looks reasonable ; 144k at £24k given not many options.

I’ve been contemplating selling mine, but I get questioned for it being high mileage at c.60k
It's funny isn't it? Folk want the car to have 20k on a car that is 10 years old. What are they then going to do with it? Drive it once a year so they don't put more miles on it?

It's a Lotus not a Ferrari, it's supposed to be driven!
I find it bizarre, even more so on an elise or exige, the cars are unbelievably simple

Don't be so hard on yourself. £30k is the new £10k.
It is indeed. I finally got off the fence and put a deposit down having first commented on this thread, and done an extensive market watch / data exercise several years back.

It was indeed 30K not 20K. High mileage well maintained S though. smile Picking up Friday.

I really hope so after so long waiting and lusting.

A 2013 S, sport, tech, premium, 60K miles, well-maintained, with clutch done... for (just) under 30K? I had to pounce.

That's a really excellent deal for a later car (no risk of gearbox maladies) with all the packs and no big clutch spend due soon. Well done.

Hence my rapid and decisive fence dismount. smile It's matt black and, if the owner's information is correct, is a unique factory painted example. There could be no hanging around at that price.

January, in icy weather. Perfect time to drive home a "new to you", 345bhp rear wheel drive mid-engined Lotus, right? I'll be driving on egg-shells till March!

I bought mine and sold mine in January. Gives you time to assess, fettle and polish before the driving season begins smile

I used mine all year round. It’s just like any rwd car on that respect.

Pick it up on Friday, will try and get something up at the weekend.

No but to preserve seller anonymity I'd better not say where.

I'll happily use it all year once I'm used to clutch and power delivery, just nervous about meeting some black ice while still getting used to the handling and responses. From having owned an Exige previously I know just how capable they are and how far up the limits are, but you can still be caught out when unfamiliar. I've been driving all 2-pedal autos for the last year so my left foot is a bit out of practice. Accidentally dumping the clutch on second gear and spinning it out would be a touch embarrassing. smile

Traction control is surprisingly good on the Evora. Saved me a couple of times when I did something stupid.

That sounds like a good deal for a S!

Seen a lot of non-S for high 20s on AT/PH so yours is very good value!

I've been saying the same on the Lotus Forum but you've bagged yourself a crazy bargain there. 30k for a late S1 S is basically unheard of!

You'll be fine driving it home whatever the weather, unless you decide to utterly send it into a roundabout it's not going to bite and I doubt you'll be doing that on your first drive on a public road in the winter!
