That is indeed why. I can't say I was in a good mood earlier this week especially as it's a hit and run so I have to also pay for the excess/take the hit on the insurance record. However, I've taken a more calm outlook after a few days and will see where I am in a few weeks when I get my car back and am ready to progress on something. Worst possible timing for that to happen with Covid slowing everything down but there's not much you can do in these situations.
The market on Evoras isn't always the fastest. I'm really wanting one, but holding off until Sept onwards when I'll actually be driving again (not gonna be back in the office till then at the earliest, maybe even next year!).

A few years ago my Cayman S got hit whilst parked the Friday before Christmas. Hit and run, £6k+ worth of damage (nothing structural or mechanical, but a massive panel that was welded on!). Really feels st for a while, but eventually all works out.

- There's another "resale" turned up. A new advert has gone up on Autotrader for a red car/black leather, private seller @ £26,492 in Mansfield. The plate is visible on one picture, and this appears to be the same car that was sold in early February in Doncaster advertised for £21,000... Looks like someone has tarted it up, taken pretty pictures and is looking to flip it for a £5,492 profit! redface

They haven't even done a great job on the advert which is light on detail, but from my records, the car is sport/tech/premium and had a clutch change at 52K (Now high miler at 85k). I would not touch this overpriced chancer with a 2-metre long isolation spacer bargepole, just on principle. smile

Clearing the gps logs before I sold it I was amused to see some trips which I assume were yours - impressive speeds there eek

Hard sell at that mileage and price. I wouldn't mind a high miler if it was special but that's not really.

- The recently advertised Liquid Blue car sold over the weekend.
- New ad up for a smoked silver car at Norwich Sports & Classic, £26,995. Frustratingly little actual useful info provided. You can't obviously tell from the pictures if it's 2+0 or 2+2 though I presume the former from the price. Also no pack info.

Not sure if they've updated since this, but the ad title now says 2+2. Looks like it's had a few mods, or just weird descriptions of some of the suspension parts etc. Looks scruffy from the pictures inside, scuffs and a lifting airbag. No mention of the clutch too, so doesn't seem great value.

It’s also described as having Litronic headlights! Porsche lights on a Lotus?

Apparently Litronic is the Bosch brand term for Bi-Xenon HIDs which, yes, are used on Porsches. Overall, dealer seems to be poorly describing the car though. Not stating what packs it has is unforgivable.

On that note, are there any visual clues that are key indicators of pack presence / absence? Tech pack gets you cruise control I think, visible from the steering wheel buttons. The arm rest in the centre is part of the Premium pack, but is also available as an option I think? Is the Sport button only present on Sport pack cars??

Looks like it has the sport button and drilled discs which would signify a sport pack.

I like the liquid blue one that’s just come on for £27.50! Even if it’s a diesel
That shouldn’t take long to sell at all.

Just gone to take a look and noticed there are 69 Evoras for sale on PH - seems very high when compared to other Lotus, only the Exige S3 showing higher. Considering the numbers built that sounds a lot to me.

It is indeed a high number. Most of those are the 400's and newers - I suspect numbers are fortified by a lot of dealer stock being advertised here? There are only 45 on Autotrader currently.

Updates

- The white car at Sytner BMW sold over the weekend it seems, after having been on sale for over two months.
- As noted, another Liquid blue car has turned up as a private sale, looks to be a very nice example with clutch done and all three packs.
- On Autotrader there is a new low marker - A black on black 2+2 with Sport and Premium, 59K miles, for £23,990. That's the second lowest priced example we've seen this year.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be deliberately awkward by not including a link, I had always assumed that linking to non-PH sales was frowned upon.
