I believe the keyfob receiver is behind the middle of the dashboard, and is connected to an antenna hidden there. Apparently it’s not uncommon for the antenna to become damaged or disconnected from the module.
There are two fuse boxes - the main one is at the bottom of the passenger footwell behind a removable aluminium panel with quarter-turn fasteners in the top corners. The second is behind a small removable panel in the rear passenger side quarter trim panel with a screw-type fastener at the top (almost opposite the subwoofer in the back seat).
