Evora test drive
Discussion
I picked up the car yesterday, haven't really driven it yet, 200 miles mainly on the motorway coming home, plus a little bit around and about, so first impressions are a little bit thin.
- nice as a motorway cruiser, quiet and refined, although the super high 6th gear will take some getting used to as it requires a change down to make any progress (not really a torque issue as the car's only doing about 1,700 rpm at 70mph). The return is 36mpg average on the run home.
- pleasantly surprised that we can get both small people in the back (6 and 2)
- am starting to get the hang of the radio thing
- only a few rattles so far (certainly no more than a BMW)
- interior a nice surprise without the premium pack (assuming the little confusion with the rear seat material gets sorted)
- 4,000 rpm running in regime is a touch on the teasing side...
