Hello, My name is Paul.
I live in SAnta Elena AKA the doorway to Andaluca (the back door i think )
Me and my wife have lived here for a year and a half, After living in Bognor, and working for Rolls Royce I needed a change. Before i got too old to do it.
So After our wedding with the Cash we got for gifts. I brought a old VW T2 Did it up (Welded - MAde intiror and painted - Gulf racing coulors . ) And left blighty, We didnt know where to go in Spain, Didnt speak SPanish ( we do now) and after a few months here. Quite frankly we started to think it was a mistake and started heading back.
We had guns pointed at us by youths ( gypsies) in the mountains. saw fights kick off on Torrevieja. It was hot in the van with many Sleepless nights of just swaeting.
Everywhere we looked at to live was a, too samll. b,to large, c, no work, d,expencive. fussy arnt I
Anyway we came across the town La Carolina one sunday ( everything shut), and really liked it, So we found a campsite in SAnta Elena ( by Accident ) and here we are.
I have gone from being an engineer to running a Gym and teaching Kickboxing, Kung Fu and Tai Chi. but thats good IMO its alot less hassle and more fun.
I have a SPeedster Replica here too ( i built it in England). its fantastic as some of the roads here are awsome for this type of car.
