Does anyone know if this exists in Spain?
I think I'm being fked over by my insurance company, and I'd like some advice without getting robbed by the other bunch of thieves called Abogado's!.

Thanks in advance. smile

Hi,
Sorry to hear about your troubles with Estate Agents and Insurance companies here.
There is the equivalent of an Ombudsman here in Spain just Google Officina del Consumidor Mallorca and it should come up with the address where it is and that is where you make your complaint and they have to follow it up.

If you need another Insurance Co in Mallorca, I use one there that is British/Spanish and have used them for my vehicles for years and they are very good, just e-mail me and I will send the contact name and address.

Thanks KT, I'll look into it.
I have an issue regarding a claim which wasn't my fault (A young guy came through a give way and T-boned me). It was a big one, and ripped the front suspension, with the wheel and drive shaft clean out.
My wife and I have two full policies with them for years now, and never made a claim untill recently. So I think we are good clients.
It's nearly four years now, and still not settled.
They've given me a lawyer, and left it up to me to go backwards and forwards to court to get my claim settled.
I think considering I have a full policey, it's up to them to claim from the other party?
Then, on top of all that, I caught the front wing of a VW Polo last year, while parking in a narrow street with my Navarra. Nothing much, just a small dent, no one about, so I left a note on the car with my phone number.
The young lady who's car it was called that evening, so I dropped by, and gave her my insurance details.
I considered just paying for the small repair, as it was only about 2 or 300 euro's worth, but I thought hey, that's why I have insurance right?
They've increased my anual fee by over 400 euro!
Am I right, or wrong, to be not impressed?
They repaired my truck (Which I've now sold, and bought another (crappy repair)) but I'm still out of pocket by about 4K for hire car, and other expenses. It's my work truck, I'm autonimo, and didn't get it back for three months, during the hieght of the season.
Sorry for the windge! Or should I forget it, and get on with my life?rolleyes

The accident that I had I was hit by a guy rolling a joint head on in a VW Golf, but my Insurance company paid out, I would definately be having a go especially if it's fully comp.

I think that I would also change my insurance company, which one is it ?............I am with Liberty Seguros who I insure all my vehicles with, bikes and cars, including the vette.
As I say if you want I can give you a name and number in Mallorca who I deal with.
