The worrying thing is that England *should* be in the top 4 based on squad.

I'm Scottish and get nervous every time a big competition comes round because, on paper, England hold every chance with genuine World Class players like Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Rio etc.

10 minutes into their opening game and all is revealed to be ok - they remain a shambles.

They aren't even the 4th best team in Europe, on paper or on grass.

I like what Paul Scholes came out and said about the England team and why he retired from the international scene. Maybe this is true, maybe it is just his own opinion on the matter.
