He's a proper tt and I don't see any other major side willing to take a risk on him....City would have already parked him in the third team with Adebayor if Mancini wasn't responsible for signing him....he'll end up in some mid-table outfit having done no justice to his talent.

I've always been a Balotelli fan and wasn't too happy at him joining City (I'm a Man Utd fan), but I still like him. The stuff he does is hilarious most of the time, but if I was a City fan I doubt I'd see it the same way. hehe

Have to say I find him quite refreshing, he has a bit of personality. It'd be boring if all footballers had a personality like Beckham etc. Ok it crosses the line when they get arrested etc but nothing wrong with some good natured banter which is all it seems to be with Mario.

Eccentric is the best way to descibe him.
As a City fan i think he's good entertainment and is definately talented, if somewhat flawed by his eccentricity which is somewhat frustrating at times. I personally hope we keep him until he finally shows some maturity - and stops being so petulant so that we truly get our moneys worth out of him.

How's he going to take to life on the bench though...he's not getting many starts is he ? Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko, Silva et al ?

I think he will still be above Adebayor in the pecking order so hop yet for the lad...

Give him time....I reckon he'll react worse than Adebayor to sitting on the bench. It's amusing watching all these players going in on big deals think they're master of the universe and next minute it's all gone Pete Tong. On a percentage of money spent City must have wasted more than anyone?

Seems to me like he's lived most of his life in his little football "cocoon" where everything is done for him, and he's just never grown up.
It wouldn't surprise me if he turns up to training in a red & black jumper brandishing a catapult!
