Saw a stat the other day that we haven't won a quarter final since we won the league cup in 1997.

Fingers crossed that trend continues. C'mon Chelsea.

Goal from Vardy pulled us back level just before full time, but a Chelsea goal in extra time sees us out of the Cup.....

Schmeichel cocked up, but hey ho, I still rate him as our best keeper and the damage was probably already done by the manager not taking Iheanacho and Iborra off earlier on.

Shame about the Cup run ending, but at least we can now concentrate on a strong end to the season - Europe is still a faint mathematical chance?

I think we'll struggle to make 7th, but we've got to give it a good go.

Some great dives from Brighton today. One of which resulted in Ndidi going off.

But 2 - 0 to the Foxes was a good result for us. Mahrez was apparently a bit quiet and Vardy got the final gaol at the end.

Well Vardy got another late gaol..... But Newcastle were already 2 up by then, and so it remained until FT.
So, can City still reach Europe next year??

Looking at how lethargic they were in the first half and most of the second - no.

Newcastle needed the win to stay up, we couldn't be arsed because we know we're safe.

Reckon we will draw Burnley this weekend and that'll be the end of it. We aren't good enough for Europe.

Well we lost, 2 - 0 down after 10 mins but Vardy pulled one back late in the second half. It is still possible to get Europe but realistically I suspect Burnley will get that and City will settle for a top half finish to the season. Then, will Mahrez be going?

I don't think he'll be the only one.

Honestly, I'm not sure if he will leave He's played well in about 2 games since the end of January, much like rest of the team, so it depends if a bigger team wants to take a gamble on him.

Burnley have got 7th wrapped up now, they deserve it in all honesty. Morgan, Simpson and Okazaki all need to be pushed out of the first 11, if any of them are starting on the first day of next season we have a serious problem.

Well the 0 - 0 draw against Southampton has not helped us very much! Will our team put the effort in to beat Crystal Palace on Saturday? I don't think Mahrez has been showing his £80M valuation recently........

Well a 5-0 loss will not have added to the value of any of our players!.......

Can't see us winning again this season tbh. I don't think Puel inspires the players, but at the same time a few of the players need phasing out now. Puel just keeps making the constant same mistakes though.
