Go away to City and draw. Brendan can do it, the players can do it. Seemingly the fans want to lose for some reason ...

No defence like a striker with pace and I'm sure you can test City's back line - mind you, their defence is a lot better than that poor excuse from North London you faced at the weekend ...
We want to lose so Liverpool don't win the leaguebiggrin

You'd give up the chance of European football to see Liverpool come second?

I find that incredibly odd.

Quite bizarre.

I don't care who wins the league. I think (Man) City might have too much for us, but I always want Leicester to win every game.
Whoever wins the league deserves it. (especially when they win it by ten points ha ha)

I'm also not 100 % on wanting europa next year, part of me thinks it will help pull a couple of important signings (tielemans for one!) but it just absolutely knackers teams out especially pre season, and whilst I think we have a good 1st team we don't have a great squad right now.

But it's all unknown really, I'm not going to complain either way but when you don't have the squads like the big boys have it has to be a consideration.

Tielemans signs!

We've got to go for top 6 this season, Europe should be our main aim.

I wondered if this thread would get revived. fk me this season could be great, part of me doesnt want to get carried away as this is leicester after all, but Top's aim of being top 5 in 5 years is all of a sudden looking acheivable.

Youri coming is a MASSIVE move, I love that he wanted to come here, the other players love him and he seems to love it here too, who cares if other teams showed interest, both partys wanted it to happen so I dont think the others really thought it was worth bothering with.

my only concern is still a lack of back up for vardy unless we are going to be trying to progress barnes to that role

As a Norwich fan, it will be interesting to see how Maddison does in his second season with Leicester.

He will certainly get a warm welcome back at Carrow Road when you guys visit!

I think it'll be Perez and Iheanacho as back up to Vardy. Perez will play a variety of positions this season.

The Sun are saying that Leicester have a greed a fee of £45M with Brighton for Lewis Dunk.

Seems a crazy fee but i guess that's the way it is.

The lad James Justin you’ve signed from us will be superb for you guys given the chance, especially with the way Brendan Rogers sets his teams up. Can play either side at wing back or wide midfield, loves getting forward but is so assured defending and in possession. Great turn of pace, too.

We’re gutted to lose him but proud he’s going to hopefully going on to big things in the Premiership-nurtured right I genuinely believe he’s an England full back of the future.

A useful start to our season with two games drawn and a strong second half against Chelsea. We could hope for a win against Sheffield at the weekend....

Can we end it now? 😂😂

I was expecting abit of a false start as such as so much has been said about or prospects this season.

Point against wolves - decent result
Point against Chelsea we could have won? Decent result
3 points against what I felt were a decent Sheffield utd side? Decent results which we need to be getting.

Loads of room to improve too, glad to see vardy finally on the scorehseet and Barnes starting as he hopefully means to go on!

Hamza was also immense the other day

Looking forward to the next game every week!

Tough game against United next, if we can get at least a point there it will be a brilliant start.

Im sure Utd will be wanting to prove a point after some disappointing results so will be tough but have no doubt we should be able to get 3 points, although as good as we were at the weekend theres still be so many final balls not quite up to last years standard but things are certainly improving and another team may be more ruthless in punishing us for it.
