Any thoughts, musings on your 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford?
Win some ....lose some!
But the Foxes played well and a draw would have been fair.

Aye. Quite impressed with the Foxes, this season.

But did you actually look like scoring? I'd wager not.

Fret not; you won't face a meaner defence than Utd's this season; Vardy, Tielemans, Madison et al were just suffocated.

Personally?

A little disappointed we set up negatively again, awful 1st half again by us not helped by a pretty st ref.

We don't play well at all with both hamza and ndiddi on the pitch, personally don't think we deserved much if anything.

Not the end of the world though, will be a learning curve for the 1st half of the season I'm sure, and hopefully we start setting up to play from the start rather than surviving the 1st half then start playing ala puel

Not a fan of this setting up with 2 DMs malarkey. Our formation and the way we're playing at the moment seems to be smothering our best players. Maddison should not be played out wide, every time he's moved into the centre he runs the show, I'm failing to understand why we keep trying it.

I said a point would have been a good result, but we never really looked like even getting that after we gave away the penalty. I was more disappointed by the performance than the result. Yes it's Manchester United, yes it's at Old Trafford, but this was the game for us to go and put down a marker to prove we're aiming for the top 6, and we blew it.

Gray is a waste of space, he shouldn't play for us again unless it's in the cup against lower league opposition. Time and time again he lets us down after being picked, proven by his pathetic stats last season. I think our decision to not buy a top class winger like Ryan Fraser will come back to haunt us, he would have been perfect.

Still, plenty of games to go and like someone else said, it's hopefully a learning curve for this young squad and young manager.

You don't want to be losing two on the bounce.

Losing to Utd is understandable (and inevitable).

Losing to Spud, less so.

Maddison in the centre appeared to work wonders! A fairly even game, I thought we had dangerous attacks but Spurs probably had better chances. A draw would have been a fair result but Maddisons goal was brilliant. A much needed win, we need another against Newcastle next weekend.

Much better all round performance setting up without the 2 dms playing.

I don't think I'd enjoy winning a game as intense as that over any other club

Certainly var changed things, both us going a little flatter in the 1st half and 2nd half I think helped lift the crowd and therefore the team, correct decision as the rules stand, other teams have had similar calls made, I also vaguely rmemeber var helping them through to the CPL final last year?

Overall I don't think you could say either team deserved to win more than the other but great result and more importantly a better performance

nicest thing about the newcastle win? I have lost count of the amount of times I have turned to my dad and said its about time we gave someone a good thrashing, we have the quality to do it, but like most teams, we go 2 nil up and then settle and hold.

Sunday we just kept going untill the very last minute which is what everyone wants to see and its our biggest win in Prem history.

Yes Newcastle were st, but this was the same st newcastle that have fustrated many good teams this year and would have likely fustrated us last year and ended in a drab 0-0.

No one had a bad game, everyone looks to be slowly clicking and having people like albrighton, fuchs, gray, etc on the bench shows grreater strength in depth than we have often had and can mix it up abit.

Liverpool is going to be a very difficult game, I am not expecting a result, despite us upsetting the apple cart last year we are still a little fragile defensively and I think that may hurt us, BUT who knows, if we come out like we know we can and fight for it, theres no reason why it couldnt be a fantastic game and go either way

Brilliant win against Newcastle, we can definitely finish in the top 6. I'm already saving annual leave ready for the tour! I've never been to Anfield before, this will be my first time, I'm looking forward to it. However, it's going to be a tough game and a point would be a brilliant result.

As a Liverpool fan, this is the first PL game I'm nervous about.

I felt the same before the Napoli CL game and look how that turned out.

Whatever happens there will be goals in it...

I doubt they were during the first 35-40 minutes, Liverpool were fantastic, but the 2nd half should give them plenty of confidence.
When is Matip back for them, Gomez looks like the weak link currently?

A point at Anfield would be fantastic. The defense can definitely be gotten at, but the pressing from Liverpool is always immense. The only positive I can think of is that the players might be tired after a 90 minute game tonight. I honestly thought at 3-0 it was game over and that Klopp was going to rest 2 or 3 players for the second half.

FFS...! Golden rule, end of the game, point in the bag - DO NOT tap one of the oppositions players on the back of the legs in your own fking area!
OK, he hardly touched him and it took 2 secs for him to dive, but that was all he needed.

We dodged a bullet there. Hope you get top 4 at the expense of Spurs.
