Subs cost us, but they had to be made at some point as it’s a busy schedule and they need to be saved for the next game. Yeah we should have had a peno IMO but a draw was a fair result.
I’d have taken a point before the game. Next two games are both very winnable, win both and we’ll be laughing with only 20 games remaining.

I think taking Ndidi off was a wise move, not just because he got booked but because he had a bit of a shocker.
Yes, the others definitely reduced our sting. But when you're a goal in front in a 6 pointer with not long to go, you don't piss around in front of your own box with fine margins, you take it down the other end and play keep-ball in the corners. Our keeper (who I rate very highly btw) is a bit careless with his distribution sometimes. Luckily we have the outstanding Wout Faes as a backup.

I think Southampton will end up 2nd, Ipswich will end up in play offs.
Said something similar on our (Leeds) thread. I can't see you finishing anywhere other than 1st and being honest that's looked odds-on for a few months now. However, I've always had a feeling Ipswich might struggle to sustain their early season form and it does appear they're having a bit of a wobble at the moment; however, if they do fall away it's looking like Southampton are the team showing the consistency needed to overtake them.
Obviously I still hope we could be in the mix for 2nd place but on current form - which over the last five games is the worst of any team in the top half of the Championship - even making the play-offs could be a struggle...
Didn't think it was a penalty and thought the red card was correct myself, said so at the time. Haven't seen the penalty replay again though.
Red card completely changed the game, no need to make that tackle at all, idiot. Managers tactics confused me, trying to sit back after taking off a winger and subbing on a winger? Very weird.
I swear any local rivalry game where we take big numbers to we rarely win, done a few now and they're nearly always poor results.

Went exactly the same way as the game at Portman Road.
Totally on top, should have probably been 2-0 at the break, but our keeper did have a great game.
To a man though, your team is ridiculous. I've never seen a game this season where the opposition seem to come out of every single duel with the ball or regain possession on second balls so well.....testament to their overall quality.
What baffled me was the complete lack of any urgency in that final 30. You were passing back to your keeper and that allowed your fans to get restless (read: bored) and I thought we actually did enough to win the second half and earn the point.
Still think you'll win the league comfortably.
Hope we don't drop too far off second place come end of the season.
Good luck and glad we've played you and done with!

Ipswich deserved a point, no complaints. We get a single goal lead and then seem totally ok with that, allowing teams to come back into the game. The last 30 minutes were a disgrace, subs were way too late, didn't look like we had any intention to going for a second goal. I'm a huge fan of Enzo, but I think his game management in the final 15 of games needs improving.
We need Ndidi back, and I'd love for us to sign that Sensi ASAP, we're lacking in midfield bodies now Casadei has been recalled by Chelsea.

Absolutely - Leicester will almost certainly go up as champions and more than likely with over 100 points. Well deserved too, the rest of us are scrapping for 2nd place (and with their consistency the Saints are looking favourites for that in my book). So we (Leeds) will quite possibly see you in the play-offs!JNW1 said:

Next 3 games are huge, ideally want to win them all before playing Leeds at Elland Road. I'd go as far as to say, if we can win all 3, and then avoid defeat at Elland Road, we won't be far off going up.
Got a lot of new grounds coming up for myself personally, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Preston, Plymouth, some long trips, especially midweek.
Loads of Leicester fans keep talking about Ipswich and Leeds finishing on 98 points etc. I just can't see it myself, taking 2.3/2.4 points per game over 16/17 games is a huge ask and would be one of the best runs the Championship has ever seen. Southampton vs. Leeds on the final day, imagine if there's something still riding on it when it's played, although I think it'll all be finished by then in terms of the top 2.
I think 95 points will be enough for promotion, setting my stall out early.
