Gents,

Is Tim Krul going to be a starter for you?

Not yesterday. And Maenpaa was on the bench.

First goals and first win of the season. That'll do an awful lot to boost the confidence levels in the squad to get that win under their belts thumbup

Great win today and an exciting game. Maybe a bit too tense in the last ten minutes, but we hung on to the lead.

The (record) crowd really got behind the team and it was good to hear everyone joining in.

Well, I’m having a celebratory beer. Great job done on WHU. Why on earth their tactics were to give Duffy/Dunk easy heading/clearing practice I do not know biggrin
Top half of the PL now!!

Celebrating a friend’s 60th birthday today, so a win at Swansea is a great result. Sounds like we were hanging on a bit towards the end though.
Still, 3pts is 3pts & puts us up to 8th!
(More importantly, 7pts above the relegation zone)

So Albion visit Chelsea on Boxing Day. They go to Newcastle on December 30 for another 3pm kick-off, then entertain Bournemouth in a live TV game less than 48 hours later on New Year’s Day-just what we need to cure the post Christmas blues tongue out

If we play the same as we did yesterday then, yes!

The guys were excellent and we were unlucky not to come away with a point.

Well, what a damp squib last night was, football-wise. We made too many mistakes in midfield and Palace couldn't put it in the net when they had the chance. (great saves from Maty Ryan!)

It's a shame that the footie was overshadowed by the off-pitch antics.

Brrrrr, chilly up here in the Toon.
Let’s hope we get a good result today.
