Good result today after falling behind to a rare mistake from Bruno.

Only able to follow on BBC text, but seems like a good team performance.

A positive thought to be taking into next week's game against Palace

Could only follow tonight's game on BBC live text, but what a result.

Stupid move from Duffy, but thankfully the team bailed him out. I guess that'll cost him dear in the bar afterwards biggrin

Puts us another three points clear of the bottom three and into the top half, to boot!

Funny, we've taken 6 off them this season too. And now a cup quarter final to hopefully round things off!

It’s the 8th time we’ve done it since the 2nd world war!

Would you like to know how many time Palace has done the league double over us in the same period?

Wikipedia tells me that not once during the same period and the last time they completed the double was the 1932-33 season.

Happy days smile

Good luck getting any further, you have Man City to play in the next round, my wife is probably silently weeping in a Peckham pub, with her Millwall brother and their Millwall father, while I, a West Ham supporter, am wondering if I can successfully conceal a smirk when I meet them there later.

Well, I think Wembley is where our luck will run out, as we used it all up yesterday.

Millwall definitely showed why they've got this far and deserved to win. I just feel that they relaxed in the final ten minutes and that allowed us in.

Amazing to be in the North Stand when their final penalty sailed over the bar thumbup

Big thanks to Palace for that.

Some changes needed if we're going to be able to stay up next season.............

Didn't know this thread existed until today. I was brought up in Newhaven and have been an Albion fan since I was about 14 (so 40+ years). Living in Lincolnshire I don't get to many games in the Premier League (went to quite a few when we were in the Championship) but did make the recent trip down to Wembley.

So relieved to have our Premier League status confirmed this weekend; next week would have been dreadful if there was still the possibility of relegation, and it seems like we put in a decent shift against Arsenal today. Hopefully a couple of quality additions in the summer and a decent pre-season and we can start next season going forwards, not looking over our shoulders.

Shame they've sacked Chris Huton.

Bad run so I get it's probably justified but he always seems like on of the true good guys of the game.

Indeed - I came on here to post my disappointment at this. I think he's done a good job - and if the season had been more even in terms of points accumulation, he'd still be in a job, I bet, and certainly so if they'd had an awful start and he'd turned it round.

The club owe a huge debt of gratitude to Chris Hughton. He took the club from the Championship in to the Premier League (after inheriting a "bit of a mess" from Sami Hyypia's time in charge) and he kept us up (just) for a second season

He's shown himself to be a safe pair of hands, but I think that the latter part of this season has shown that he doesn't quite have the tactical knowledge/inventiveness to really compete with the other teams in this division. He's reverted to type and set us up to defend and "not lose", which ultimately has led to the team not attacking much and not really showing much confidence in attack when they do.

I'm sorry to see him go as he seems to be a thoroughly decent bloke.

If Tony Bloom is going to make changes, then now at the beginning of the close season is the right time to do it.

Let's hope that whoever gets the job is able to make the changes required to get better results next season.

Sacking CH does strike me as massively ungrateful of the Brighton board.

What more can they expect than keeping a small, poorly resourced club in the Premier League?
