As if you couldn't guess by my username, QPR fan here...

Seems like we've done some pretty good business today (in the last week or so really I guess)

Barton, Traore, Luke Young all in, and looks like we're close to announcing deals with Wright-Philips, Anton Ferdinand and maybe one other

I'm so pleased we missed out on Bellamy though, I can't stand him, more so since he was at Baaadiff, although his 'I'm staying loyal to West Ham' speech followed by a transfer out the next day comes a close second

Big Ben strikes!

Who will make it before the deadline? Arteta to Arsenal? Meireles to Chelsea?

The suspense!

Interesting to see if we signed anyone. Not heard anything since Beckford offer accepted.

Well, finally some movement from Everton. Arteta gone for 10 million, which I'm not that surprised by. He's given us 6 years or so, but he's not the player he was a few years ago. Still, wish him all the best at Arsenal. I think he will fit in there quite well, if he stays fit, and his injury doesn't bite him in the arse. With Rodwell, I think we have the direct replacement.

Beckford gone, which to be honest was a surprise. Not sure what to make of it, and for not much either. He had a decent season last year, finishing off with a flourish against Chelsea. I reckon Leisescterstershire got a bit of a bargain, to be honest.

Yakubu gone as well. We've been trying to offload him all summer, and we needed it to get in the 2 loan fellows. I thought Fenerbache would have taken Yobo, but alas, he is still there.

The 2 chaps we have got in on loan seem, on paper, and reviews at least, seem to be pretty decent.

Drenthe seems like a decent risk, and coming from Real Madrid is no bad thing. He was loaned out, but than again, so was Arteta when we first got him.

Sasquatch, (not ging to bother attempting to spell his name), also seems like a surprising fellow. An obvious eye for goal, young, and Argentinian. I'm hoping for a Toffee version of Tevez, and a goal threat that isn't injured all the time, like the sublime, but never here Saha.

I trust Moyesiah, and presumably he's done his homework. Looking forward to seeing the new chaps, and how they fit in.
