If you're talking about his stint at Man Utd he was signed on a free, so hardly amongst the worst buys!

strewth for Man. United...

Eric Djemba Djemba
Kleberson
Jordi Cruyff
Juan Veron....should have been amazing
Laurent Blanc
(mad) les Sealey
massimo Taibi
Ricardo
Quinton Fortune

I could go on
Sealey was a legend! Poor fker died prematurely, too.

Blanc was cheap / free, did a job for us and helped with defence coaching.

Fortune was a cheap utility player who always did a good job when called upon.

Cruyff was also cheap, sadly suffered too many injuries but often looked amazing.

Rest I'd largely agree with,

Arthur Jackson

No. You see was SO st that even you Spuds can't remember him!! My Spud mate holds him up as THE worst player ever to pull on the Lilywhite shirt.

Are there any Leicester City fans present ?

I present this selection of outstanding talent :

Peter Taylor the man who spent £5m on Ade Akinbiyi, £3m on Matthew Jones, £3m on Jamie Scowcroft and £1.5m on Trevor Benjamin.

(this was back when even £3m was not an insignificant amount of money to spend)

Honourable mention to Junior Lewis, surely the worst player ever to regularly turn out for Leicester in the top flight.

Matthew Jones could have been a decent player had he not had his injury problems, but to expect a kid from Leeds to replace Neil Lennon was madness.

I can't believe no Liverpool fans have remembered the Turd that was Sean Dundee!

The European Cup winner Igor Biscan???

You're right, he was wk. Always looked like he'd had 18 pints the night before.

Ade Akinbiyi is one of Wolves' worst ever signings as well. Bought to replace Robbie Keane biglaugh

Is there any other player who could be the worst buy for two different clubs?!

Antonio Nunez, how he played 11 games at Real Madrid ill never know. Id say he had the first touch of a snail and the crossing ability of a toddler. Scored a goal in the league cup final and won a champions league medal(unused sub)
