This thread is a little unfair for supporters of clubs where Gerard Houllier AND Rafael Benitez have been at the helm. Too many to chose from.
Also remember some of the dross Souness bought.

Howard Kendall (as manager). Broke up a young, dynamic team consisting of 6 under 21s

Replaced Them with the likes of "inchy" heath, Wayne Clarke and neil (disa) pointon

Oh, and he refused to play Colin hendry because machin had signed him

Utter tool - was delights when he fked off. Just a shame he got anywhere near the club in the first place

I was going to list a few dishonourable mentions but am worried about getting RSI

Has to be Jason Dossel (spelling?) for me. We got him off of Ipswich and he was supposed to be quite good, he wasn't.

Rebrov, Helder Postiga and Stephan Dalmat were also poo.

Do you have a selective memory?

The Machin team was on the verge of relegation, Kendall turned them into top 6 contenders!

Mauro Boselli. Signed him for 6.5m, hardly played, and when he did play he was ste. Sent him on loan to Genoa where he scores against AC Milan!

Fulham. So it's a toss up between Steve Marlet at £11.75M or Andy Johnson who after add ons could cost £13M. Both a complete waste of space and the description of 'striker' on there respective CV's is a complete joke.
