Anybody else get the impression that UEFA want Barca to win this

Two very soft penalties IMHO , kind of wanting Milan to win this one
Is this Jose Mourinho?

Remember the 2 pens we DIDN'T get last week??

Remember the 2 pens against Chelsea @ Camp Nou we DIDN'T get in 2009? Remember Ballack and another Chelsea player (can't remember who) NOT getting sent off in the same game? Remember Abi getting sent off for NOTHING @ Stam Bridge? Abiatti should have also been off last week when the first pen should have been given!

All the conspiracy theories are doing my nut in! sit back, watch, admire.

May as well give them the cup now , can't see many refs going against UEFA's desires that Barca win it again .

I can understand players falling over & conning the ref , but what I despise is the surrounding of the ref advising him to show red & yellow cards like we saw last night after the Italian defender tickled messi's big toe .

To suggest that Barca are hard done by with refereeing decisions is pure Bolony .

Come on Real

Couple of times a year, yes...supported Barca since I lived in Spain for a while in 1985. Stevie Archiebald. My wife is Spanish, her family are from Barcelona, we got married there, we go a couple of times a year and I go to Camp Nou (she hates fitba).

Your problem with that is......?

Like I said, since '85....some damn had times during that period, so I'm enjoying the good times!

Guess who my all time favourite player always was? Pep Guadriola!

I don't really care if you see me as a glory hunter, I know what I feel...

Also amusing to see neither of you argued the points raised.

edit: Forgot about Bojan's "goal" being disallowed for a phantom handball by Toure against Inter a couple of years back...!

The only point you put towards me was I hate Busquets because he's so good and Man Utd can't have him.

That simply isn't the reason, there's nothing to debate there.

And I went to Barcelona once. Went to see us beat Benidorm 1-0, Messi scored from the rebound after he missed a penalty, we didn't play particularly well but we got the result.

I weren't exactly victimizing you. I was just saying, even though I like to watch Barcelona as much as I can I couldn't say they were my 1st team as Liverpool are, who I've watched since I was born and had a season ticket for just under 10 years.
You just came across really enthusiastically, asif you went to every home game and spoke like you are Pep's best mate.
Like I said, not many can exactly say Barca are their first team unless they are spanish. Your wifes spanish and you've lived in Spain.
Ticks off my basic criteria for claiming a club as your main supporting club :P

Well, if my 10 year plan goes to plan, my Apartment in Barcelona will be my base at least one weekend a month! Season ticket will be secured as will my Socio status once I've completed my 3 year's commitment.

If only Barcelona had the Oil Industry!

Believe me, I live and breathe Barca...!

I didn't say we were hard done by; I'm showing that these things even themselves out....on the other hand, all I've heard since that game @ Stam Bridge is "Barca get all the decisions" which clearly isn't the case.

As for the card waving; you have to understand that it's accepted in certain countries and it's all seen as the way of getting one over your rival; it's a cultural mentality...it's NOT seen as "Cheating" in Spain...but it is here. Who's correct?

Visca el Barca.

Fairplay mate.

I understand that you want to defend against accustations of glory hunting when you support a team like Barca.

Messcotti, you might be able to help.
It says onthe barca site, 8000 fans give up their ticket before the game.
I need 3 tickets for the Malaga game. Booked flights and apartment already.
What's the odds on getting 3 tickets next to eachother off the official site in the next few weeks?

Good luck to you , i guess it's easy to just support a team because they are the best , but obviously not you , i can see it's in your blood (wife being spanish & your love for steve archibald )

Just hope Bayern or Real go on to lift the trophy this year ,

I would personally prefer Munich because they are a well run financially stable proper football club , Unlike some of the teams in Europe whom manage to operate whilst millions in debt
