I see that the Scottish Premier League have changed their rules to allow clubs to pilot standing areas at grounds.

Being tall and a couple of pounds (maybe stones) overweight, I hate having to squeeze into the seats at some grounds, Liverpool and Man Utd are the worst I can remember from the last couple of years.

When Blackpool were in the lower leagues I would always take the option of a standing area over a seat if both were available. If we were to introduce it I would be changing my season ticket to that area.

Just wish the FA/Premeir League/Football League would have the balls to do this.

I support Liverpool but go to a lot of Carlisle United games and much prefer standing to sitting down. Wish they would do a trial run in the premiership.

Couldn't be in standing now I take my little boy (3yrs) with me but I'd definitely be in favour of standing making a return. Maybe not exactly the same as the old stands at Bloomfield Rd though wink
