Incredible turnaround for Inter Miami since Messi arrived, I don't recall a single player ever having such a direct and immediate impact.
The worst team in the League has now won the Leagues Cup and is in the final of the Open Cup, despite being rock bottom of the league (I think they've only played one league game since he joined, so that's not his fault!)

It's league One standard at best.
No doubt he is still quality, but the standard is poor. It’s the same for people who still rave Ronaldo is class and when he scoring against second rate teams. Hopefully Messi has a bigger impact in terms of improving the quality of the league, rather than padding out his goal stats.

Speaking of goals, do they still count as much ? Obviously a goal is a goal, don’t get me wrong but are they say weighted for the history books ?
