Only what everyone else has heard.
If I went into a bookies the shortest odds would be on Messi being at Barca next year.
That tells me everything is just speculation.
I’m only guessing though.
From everything that has been said in the media, if he is there at Barcelona at the end of the window it'll be under duress. If I went into a bookies the shortest odds would be on Messi being at Barca next year.

Rumor's are he hasn't turned up at training for two days in a row, could be for genuine reasons but hey. I understand the media need to make stories until the league kicks off and this is perfect tabloid fodder.
Yesterday he was due for a COVID test and then today was first day of training. Haven't heard if he attended either, the rumour was he was going to as he didn't want to leave Barca on bad terms, but if he wants to leave seems like he may need to force his way out and not attending training etc is next step.fyi on sky sports they reported that Barca have stated that Messi is AWOL and the club is currently fining him 100k eur per day and this is the second day he is awol.
That’s 700k eur a week in fines, a cool 2.8m a month.
I think this is now a situation beyond recovery as both parties are now washing their dirty laundry in public.

Surprise, surprise, press reports today citing Messi as considering making a U-turn over his decision to leave Barca....... oh there's a surprise....
Not really a U turn when he says he has no choice.Next summer might be a different story....

Not really a U turn when he says he has no choice. No, I bet he's signed the new two year deal to stay, which hardly means no choice.

Who does he think he is? Dixie Dean?
Snowflakes never heard of Dixie Dean, as for Messi a very good player but his petulant behaviour of late is pathetic - also no where near as good as Maradona, Messi AWOL for Argentina won SFA for his country.Maradona won everything for club and country and very close to winning the WC as captain TWICE (which no one has ever done), in 1990 Argentina were absolutely brutal but he basically dragged them to the final - i think he set up Cannigia for the winner to knock out Brazil in the last 16 but its a bit hazy
Ok so he loved hookers and coke but Messi not fit to lace his boots. I remember watching Italian football in the 80s and 90s and Maradona was king and back them there was no protection from the refs and he did not have a stellar supporting cast like Messi has had at Barcelona
this was the golden era of Italian football, Messi wouldn't last a full season back then

Barca are in a right mess, and for them to lose Messi as well would be a massive blow. They will hope they can get him to sign another deal to stay at the club. I don’t think anyone in the world could afford his transfer fee and wages.
