Messi scored another free-kick last night (don’t think him being potentially one of the greatest free-kick takers ever is spoken about enough).

A bit of a crazy stat - Messi is the one who has scored Argentina’s last free-kick, Inter Miami’s last free-kick, PSG’s last free-kick AND Barcelona’s last free-kick. (Technically Raphinha has against Arsenal but that was a friendly).

Yep one of the best of his generation, but not of all time. You can’t compare players from different eras because football in the 60/70s is completely different to football today. How can you compare Messi to say Maradona, Pele or Best?
